Meeting someone from the same town

I only met people within an eight mile radius. Even bumped into playmates on the train, in Sainsbury's. In 10 years of meeting people of the Internet I've never had a problem.
Needy, psychotic people don't respect boundaries! |

I like that last line - you've just described my mother |

"Been asked to meet someone from the town could this get awkward ?
Depends if you have seen a pic - might be a relative! "
There are some northern towns where the likelihood of that happening is higher than you might think |

We prefer to meet people locally or in close surrounding areas. If we ever come across someone we know, we know they are here for the same thing?
Obviously we probably wouldn't want to swing with them though depending who it was but probably have a little giggle about it and move on. |

I meet a nice woman from same town as me regularly. But I got lucky with her. Found out her kid was a year above me in the same school. She is also friends with someone from my year so if she was a cow, she could have revealed me but luckily she is nice and keeps my secrets. Woukdnt meet another from same town though. |

We've met Afew people from our town , never really had a issue with it , useful for last minute or late night meets lol, however we knew one couple who worked in a shop and every time someone from here came in they would use the term "fab" loudly and often, I think they found the discomfort or embaresement funny , luckily they have now left the site . |

We have met a few people that are very local. One couple live literally up the road, not that we knew that at the time, came as a bit of a shock.
Bump into a couple of them on a fairly regular basis while out and about and have never had a problem.
Yet had issues with the odd single and couple that don't live anywhere near us!
