Confidence and arrogance

I have to tread this line very carefully and do step over it at times.
As much from being boisterous as anything else.
That said if I come across as arrogant sometimes there are those that enjoy it as well as those who are put off by it x |

I much prefer a very confident guy so it wins with me. 
As long as you're not a strutting peacock like a Ronaldo who appears to see no wrong in himself but hardly anyone is THAT vain. |

Yes, I have. but then it's probably quite obvious from talking from me that coming across as that way doesn't necessarily mean you are. I try to be a nice guy at the base, and I like simple things. Opinionated, stubborn and confident might be better. To some, this will be arrogant, to others, confident. Just depends on the chemistry. |

hahahaha Thing is I'm a nice guy and I now my plus points and I know my flaws, to call them as such. But I'm also very open so I'll talk about anything and with complete honesty and if I happen to be talking about my track record in the bedroom or my abilities with IT for instance then yes, it will sound arrogant lol
But I've always been of the opinion to not worry too much about what others think about you, be yourself and if people want to judge then that's fine, if they get on with me then that's fine. By the same token I don't get too worried about what other folks are like or do. Live and let live xx |

that's true, i've met some very arrogance men who really have nothing to be arrogant about, and yet I've met some really good looking guys who are just so modest and don't see it |

I even like a bit of arrogance, if the guy has the goods.
I think cocky is very sexy in the moment and if you're feeling submissive you want the guy to be confident and dare I say have an air of arrogance. |

You are always going to get some people for and against , but in my experience of life I've found that those who feel threatened by confident people , quite often have self esteem issues , and often mistake it for arrogance . |

Often self esteem can be situational or contextual. It may be something about that person that reminds them of another person from their past which gave them a bad experience.
You know how when some people pick baby names and for some reason they say NO to a perfectly fine name, then you discover that 13 years ago at school they knew another "Incontinetia Buttocks" who just was very annoying. |

cant stand arrogant people but sometimes i like them if they are arrogant in a funny way, not taking themselves too seriously. someone might come across as arrogant because you dont realy know them properly.
me and my son think that my sister in laws arrogant, where as she thinks shes confident, she likes to think she knows it all a lot of the time. |

I often use the sniffing gusset method when selecting a possible partner, then make a decision based on the level of estrogen detected.
It's not arrogance, it's confidence in my abilities.

I have low self esteem and I've never been overly confident but I'm working on it  I like people who are quietly confident. Arrogance is very off putting! |

I'm afraid I do seem to specialise in the arrogant narcissist, haha!! I've always liked confident men of all sorts, and cocky or even arrogant men don't phase me, some of my best friends are total peacocks!!
