I checked the most recent face pic threads and this wasn't covered (but I expect it's been done before at some point!)
If a guy/ fem/ couple (delete as appropriate to your wants!)makes initial approach and has then sent a face pic (in response to your request) and you've declined as 'not my/our type' but they asked for one in return in their message with their pic, how many would send their pic in return? Personally, I don't - I don't see the need for them to know what I look like when I've declined a meet anyway. I appreciate I asked for their pic first.. |

I don't do the 'show your face' threads.
If someone wants to ask - they can by other means.

I don't send one back after the 'sorry you're not what I'm looking for'.
I got a right telling off the other day for this, I was bored so humoured him instead of blocking but apparently I'm a rude, stuck up, self-obsessed c**t. He couldn't understand why I didn't want to send him my face pic after I had pointed out that he wasn't my type and he sent a rather rude reply.
Yes dear, you're not my type, we are never going to meet, you have been incredibly rude to me, of course I'll send you my face picture for you to show the world whilst you continue throwing abuse at me.  |

No we don't send a face pic back if we are not interested.
Same as if we make first contact and send a face pic, wouldn't expect or ask to see one if they were not interested in us.
What would be the point? |

If we had no interest whatsoever, then no.
If we weren't sure and would happyily meet/chat at a club if we went on the same date then we would say that, but include a pic also. Who knows..
as an aside..
What we dont like is people asking if we have face pics, but yet not prepared to include one in their message.
Well obviously the answer is yes we do.. but your asking us, so you first..

do you mean the show ur face threads? i thought the whole point of them was to exchange face pics
i always sent one in return whether i fancied the person or not. it was just a bit of fun |

Nope - I meant in private messages where a guy messages me and at some point quite early on I ask for a face pic (have chatted for ages before only to then get a face pic and it be a very definite 'not my type' - which is a waste of time for both parties) - and then discover they're not my type - inform them of this and they ask for a face pic in return 'as it's only fair'. I always decline to do this as I don't see the point. |

OK one reason many F and couples here ask for face pics is that many M profiles don't have any memorable pics on them so they forget who is who especially when they receive many messages.
The other is common sense - what you look like not just good looking but how old and if look like a nutter

Great thread , a subject I feel strongly about .
Don't ASK for a face pic , if your not prepared to send one by return even if you don't fancy them. It's common courtesy and manners. If someone has the decency to fulfil your request why decline if they ask the same. If they have sent you one without you asking then that is different .
I always say to those that ask , are you prepared to send one also . Never had a problem since I've started making that clear first . |

Can't think of a single reason why you would want to see a face pic in return if you have sent yours to someone and based on that they aren't interested in you.

It's called being human !!! It's actually quite nice to see the face of someone you've being having dialogue with. As I said don't ASK for it if your not prepared to have the common decency to send by return. |

No point in a return pic but what I don't get is the people who ask to see a face pic tend to be those unwilling to send one first. I'll send my face pic happily but it's annoying as what tends to happen if I ask to see a face pic I get a 'you first' but if someone else asks I'm expected to show straight away. |

If we didn't fancy the sender we wouldn't send a picture back for two reasons.
1. Whats the point? It's not bullseye " lets see what you could have won"
2. Some people hate rejection and giving them face pic's to link with naughty fab pic's is to much ammunition. Sad but true
