Will you cheaters put on your profile that you're in a relationship and let everyone else make an informed choice! Or at least have the decency to read mine and take note I will NOT have anything to do with men in relationships! |

I think that is very fair there are plenty who will play with attached people. |

Wow, with a "holier than thou" attitude like that you should really be in the church, rather than on a swingers site!

I find that statement ridiculous. Do you think swingers aren't entitled to their own moral compass? A persons who cheats on their partner is NOT a swinger on the eyes of the majority of swingers I believe. |

you arent.
swingers generally involve the person they love in their fun, rather than doing it behind their backs.
you are someone that likes sex and needs it more than his partner is willing, prepared, or able due to having many lovers herself that you dont know about.
oh what a wicked web we weave |

agree totally, no one likes deceit. If a man can't respect me enough to tell me the truth then he doesn't deserve to meet me. Plenty of women who don't give two hoots whether the bloke they see is married or not so do them the courtesy of being honest just a slight nit pick....is tangled web we weave when we first practise to deceive xx |

Look more carefully and you'll see that it wasn't me that was saying that swingers aren't entitled to their own moral compass, but the person I was responding to.

I get very uncomfortable when people start saying what is and isn't acceptable sexually should be determined by a majority vote. |

Massage: I interpreted your original post as implying if adultery isn't acceptable by swingers then they might as well leave here and join a church. My moral compass statement IS to you.
The second issue- I did not state anything as fact. It's an opinion based on my observances here in the forum. |

I accept 100% (how could anyone not?) that someone has the right to choose who they want to play and not play with. I don't think that anyone has the right to wish a relationship breakdown on someone else - that's trying to impose your moral compass on someone else.
"The second issue- I did not state anything as fact. It's an opinion based on my observances here in the forum."
You're playing with words. Either you stand behind what you said, or you admit you were wrong. Saying "it's just an opinion" doesn't somehow turn something wrong into something right.
Maybe I've been too long on the swinging scene, because I remember the days when the way you could tell a real swinger is because they didn't judge someone else based on their sexual choices. It seems that swinging has lost that particular moral compass nowadays, and that makes me very sad. I'd love to return to the days when people had a little more respect for each other's choices. |

What a load of codswallop. I happen to accept that my beliefs are not necessarily facts. As an evolved and evolving human being what I believe today may change tomorrow if I am met with evidence to the contrary or have other experiences.
You also talk *bleep* about moral compass as if swingers are united under one. That, as a fact , is bullshit. You are talking in black and white and yet life has many shades of grey (50 perhaps lol).
Out of interest, are you cheating? |

Did you find out after you met then?
Otherwise before hand isn't it just a case of delete, block & move on....
People will write what they want on their profile because they can and some will also take their chance that you don't mean what you say in yours.
better luck next time x |

No I didn't meet him, just time wasted getting to know each other before the confession. That in itself is no big deal. It literally was a "for fucks' sake" reaction (that I decided to share ). |

Well to play devils advocate here, a person you meet says no never done bb, only met 5 people blah blah, no nope bi.., the list is endless and only down to your intuition is what you then act on.
I don't condone cheating and I don't want an angry wife at my doorstep however if people choose to cheat, up to them and I also see no point ranting about it as in any walk of life you will across a liar so c'est la vie. |

A mild rant that doesn't escalate can be therapeutic. |

Lying to someone who loves you is not sexual choice, its deceit whatever way you try to dress it up. I have known couples where one of them has had affairs, justifying it with mismatched libido. I have watched families torn apart when the truth came out, children shocked, unable to believe the parent they idolised was actually lying to the whole family to meet his own selfish needs, a bit of titillation to boost a sagging middle aged man's self esteem, pathetic |

"people lie about all sorts of things though, i have to keep reminding myself not to belive what people say.
"
Sadly I'm the opposite and have to remind myself to try and believe at least some of what people say.
With regard to the oft debated married and playing away question I advocate letting people know from the start and being as honest as you can given the shaky ground you're on but please don't berate others for denying you sexual choice when you're doing the same to someone else. For the record I personally don't care of you're married or not it's your business. |
