"why do so many couples and women think they dont do the same...............weird that
This one doesnt!"
some do lol
my point IS,if u bring fabs largest group into any discussion that is about their negative actions, u will end up obviously singling out that group.
If men are lying its most likely to do with their want to get by age filters...if its women..its probably vanity....
and surely that combined, some cpls will also tell some porkies on their exact age |

"I haven't lied I've been up front, am 22, and I am a genuine man that can't find a net cause of so many other single males Are LIERS"
You're actually blaming other men on Fab for you not getting a meet because they are liars? |

It isn't just men who are economical with their age lots of couples are they also often lie about what they want to each other and therefore to any meets.
Single men are not the bad guys of swinging. |

Indeed.
I find the number in a profiles name is normally what age they are. |

"What's the point?!! Grrrr
I'd imagine there are just as many women and couples who don't put their true age on, not just men."
Single women...maybe...but really no need
Couples...I doubt it.. Why would they need to lie?

We have met couples who have quite clearly lied about their age. |

There was a thread on here two weeks ago where a man had put on his profile about not getting any meets blah blah blah people checked his profile which said he was 35 and challenged him over it amongst other things.
Just went back through our forum posts and seen that he had now put his profile age as 52!!! Cheeky beggar so tempted to bump that thread. |

Why are so many people inflating/ adjusting the truth I wonder? Well, for one they can..trouble is, the truth usually comes out when they meet others (who also may have inflated things a little.
Bottom line.. does it matter? You can still say no to further engagement. |

I am "friends" with a handful of profiles (couples and women), who have admitted to me that they are not the age they have stated in their profile. I personally find it silly, but have also not given my true birth date. I reach 33 2 months earlier than I should lol |

I don't think single men are the bad guys of swinging..we have met LOTS of great guys. My point is, why lie about your age? It's just not necessary. There's someone for everyone |

Well I don't lie about my height as that falsehood would be obvious upon meeting me.
As previously admitted a few weeks ago on another thread I lied about my age when I first joined as when my head is shaved and no face fuzz folk usually put me at 5-10 years, sometimes as much as 15 , less than my actual age.
It was 'kid in a sweet factory' time and a way of lessening restrictions. I always told meets my true age beforehand and guess what? Over half of them lied about theirs.
If/when I start to actively seek again I shall revamp my profile and include my real age, currently standing at two score and twelve. |

your making out couples wont lie?-they follow exactly the same rules of engagement as single people do..the fear of rejection.
some lie about smoking, some lie about how great their sex life is,some lie about how how happy they are sharing their partners, lie about their professional jobs etc etc.
I've been on the scene that long, single and cpld(in the proper fashion) to know there are many people who..will tell a huge or small porkie...
most of the time nobody will ask intrusive questions anyway...I'd never ask a cpl to show me their marriage certificate or perform a land registry check on their house... |

Where are all these guys hiding???? All of the ones I have met have been exactly what I was led to believe (and better in most cases). I think you need to re_iew who you are chatting to and meeting. |

"Also...Who cares if their age is not accurate. Surely if you are attracted to that person and want a meet, then it becomes irrelevant. "
Its just a bit silly though isnt it?
there are plenty of old timers on here who meet others for fun isnt there, short ones too. |

It isn't irrelevant when you turn up to meet people who are ten years at least older than their stated age and photographs. |

Lying is not the exclusive domain of men.

Ah, I see. I was under the assumption that you would have already seen a recent pic of them before arranging to meet. If they also deceive you by sending a much older picture of themselves, then that really bites the biscuit. But if you had seen them and they didn't look their real age, Then I'm sure it wouldn't bother many people. But morally it's wrong, regardless. |

I find it kind of funny, too. I mean, if you're 5'6", and you say in your profile you're 6'3", how in the hell do you think the meet is going to go? The same thing kind of goes with age too. The person usually bases their attraction or lack thereof on what you look like, not so much your birthdate.
I've seen women in their 50s and even 60s that I would have sex with just based on their looks...I don't really give a shit what their actual age is.
It just fascinates me the way some people think they can pull shit off and think they'll get away with it! You're screwed (and not in the good way) at your first meet!
Plus, it's just easier to be truthful anyway. Lying, and then remembering what lies you told to who is a hell of a lot of wasted effort.

It's happened to us with couples and single men, we're not bitter about it and in fact have a laugh when we remember it. The one that makes us laugh the most is the guy (from another site) who in his photo was athletic with full head of dark glossy hair and 50, in person the only similarity was that he had hair . |

Yes we met a young man who had inflated his age. It just isn't possible in some cases to carry it off. |

We can asssure you that many couples lie too! There is a couple on this site with two separate profiles -I think to use in the chatrooms. Profiles are identical, except they are both eight years younger on the Mrs profile than on the Mr profile! |

I would just feel sorry for that person and their deluded sense of reality lol I'm sure after they receive he same reaction several times, they will start to be more honest. We all learn by making mistakes |

And men tend to be too polite to point that out
They're just too busy moaning about how they can't get a meet! "

Yes I had one of these for the first time last week, verified by someone familiar, 12 years older and considerably heavier! I walked out - who would put themselves through that? He had deleted by the time I got home. |

It's one of the reasons we a strict social only meet first rule, it tends to put people like that off unless they are truly deluded, lots hope that you'll think "oh well I'm here now I might as well" |

Single women & couples would lie the same as everyone else ~ to meet their age preference & get around filters.
