Myself and three other mates have tickets for the Commonwealth games but seeking accommodation is proving a nightmare. Can anybody advise of "reasonably" priced accommodation for four lads in the Glasgow area?
Thank you in advance |

A lot of students go home for the summer holidays and sublet their accommodation. Try some of the colleges to see if they have noticeboards or look on their facebook pages. |

Good luck with that. I've ended up in a youth hostel as the hotels are massively overpriced (plus I may get to meet some hot young ladies hehe). It's worth considering staying a fair distance out of Glasgow as the trains run until late and are reasonably priced ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

"How much is your budget?"
Asked one of my friends who is coming with me and he says no more than £50! I say no more than £60! As unrealistic as that sounds I have seen propertied being advertised on airbnb around that figure (when split four ways). Its the hotel's which are quoting ridiculous prices ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |
