Hi all, one of our friends recently confided in me that she would like to become part of the swinging scene, but has issues with giving strangers blow-jobs due to the health (STD) implications.
In her words "it would be very difficult to be someones cum-whore if said whore didn't 'do' cum..."
Any thoughts or pearls of wisdom to send back???

For about the first 6 year of us swinging Shaz would only give a bj if the guy had a condom on.
She shouldn't worry what others think, we all reserve the right to play within our safety boundaries and shouldn't let anyone try to push us out of them.

Regular testing and precautions on penetrative sex is a must. Oral is always a problem as i don't like sucking rubber and like direct contact between clit and tongue for a good orgasm.
my advice is to weigh up things and make her own decision as no one can do it for her. |

it's your friend doing the BJ, so tell her she is in control...she don't have to do it, if it looks "unpleasant", she don't have to do it to completion, not unless she wants to anyway, and she will decide if it's to be done "safely" or not |

Each to their own.
A clean well groomed fella is our only request however quite rightly that does not mean a clean bill of health..
'pearls' of wisdom - like it! |

Does she mind giving oral with condoms? That’s the big question, personally speaking, I would rather hang up the swinging boots than suck on a piece of rubber, flavoured or not |

Personally i have never given a blowjob using a condom. However, if that is your preference as long as you make it clear before you meet someone then i cant see any problems. I had some dental work done about 18 months a go plus a tooth taken out and i didnt give anyone a blowjob until it was healed |

My understanding is that oral sex is considered a lower risk activity for STDs than are anal and vaginal sex.
Even so, it is still possible to get one and we must each weigh up what risks we are willing to take when swinging.

In my ( our ) experience it's generally oral sex without condoms, penetrative vaginal ( or anal ) sex, with.
Don't ask me how I know this, but if you look at shemale porno, for example, they will be sucking each other to high heaven without condoms, then put one on for further activities.
Same goes for wild party type orgy scenerio's.
Just the other day I saw a .gif on another site, the guy was simultaneously sucking and f**king a guy, he wore a condom on his weewee, but the guy he was sucking was bareback.
Unless the porno industry doesn't know something we know, which is unlikely, oral sex just doesn't seem ( hopefully ) to carry the same dangers as fourth base......
............ and, yes, I'm going for a check up next week.
Disclaimer: Not encouraging unprotected sex in any way or form, just rather curious as to what the real deal is.

Don’t think there is a real deal
When you go for you’re check up next week just ask
The common answer is that most people who have contracted an STD have had full sex as well as oral, the only way we’d find out any true figures is if everyone only done oral and refrained from having any type of penetrative sex.
Can safely say I’ve never had an STD, and have never used a condom when giving oral, however I’m not naïve enough to think that makes oral pretty safe or any less risk, it could simply mean they other person is clean and has nothing to pass on.
Highly doubt you’ll get many offers from people to perform oral sex on someone with a know STD to test the actual risks involved |

Debi loves the feel of the cock in her mouth, she would lose some of her fun if there was a condom on it - and theres no way she would miss out on her favourite bit, swallowing the cum!! |

I have a relation who works for the Terrence Higgins trust...they are very clued up on the subject..
I think the risk factor is minimal..a very small percentage for catching anything from giving or receiving a nosh (the latter being the safer)
An AIDS worker once told me that its nearly always down to blood to blood contact.. |

We did a very long thread on this about 18 months ago was it?
Without bothering to research the figures again to see if the figured have changed - from official UK government statsistics - the chance of having sex with an HIV+ person (by pure random chance) in the UK is about 1 in 1000.
That's because HIV is not very prevelant in the UK
The prevelance is higher for certain groups especially bi or gay males and people of african birth. It is also higher for people living in London and much lower for people living in Wales
Strangely enough HIV is a very difficult virus to pass on through any sort of sexual activity. For unprotected Vaginal sex the chances of contracting HIV is about 1 in 1000 sex acts with an infected person
That gives the chance of contracting Aids through unprotected vaginal at about 1 in 1000 people x 1 in 1000 sex acts or roughly 1 in a million.
Most people with HIV become infectious when their condition progresses to full blown AIDS. Such a person is legally obliged to inform you.
The risk of contracting HIV from unprotected vaginal with a person who does not know they are infected (asymptomatic) are actually two or three times lower so the real risk is about 1 in 2 million to 1 in 3 million.
The Chances of contracting HIV from unprotected oral is about 8 times less
So for HIV infection
Barebackers (vaginal) in the UK chances are about 1 in 2-3 million
Unprotected oral chances are about 1 in 16-24 million
Unprotected anal is about three times riskier than vaginal
Here are some other interesting facts to put this into perspective:
It is safer to bareback with the Welsh than to have 'safe sex' with Londoners
It is *far* safer to accommodate and bareback than to drive to a meet and use condoms
If you smoke then personally you have far more to worry about than the risk of contracting AIDS
Anyone want links to the various statistics on the net just ask
xxx
