Some people ARE on here looking for love. Some just want no strings fun but wouldn't rule out a relationship if it develops. Some want nothing but sex and might be put off by someone if they feel they may become "clingy" or try to get emotionally attached...

Why do men always feel the need to say that? I've seen it on plenty of profiles...ex army....ex marines....ex serviceman. You never see anyone else do that. Why not ex office worker....ex shop worker....ex lolipop man.... |

Mind you, sometimes it goes hand in hand with men informing us that they're good looking too and I like to decide for myself whether I find someone attractive or not  |

get that profile pic changed too makes u look much older..in fact I'm 3years older than u(just blessed with youthful genes, or its spunk from years of facials)
anyway I wont tell u to find another site to use..I've seen lots look for love on here over the years fail, but if willing to understand this site/scenes nature , u might get lucky..but its very very rare |

well you're not really advertising that you want to pamper and spoil a lady on your profile, you are after a FB which is a little different!
Maybe start by updating your profile with what you can offer and what you really want & then take it from there. |

If Ex Marine is your only selling point then no. Respect the job but it does not automatically make you attractive to women.
A witty smart profile without the usual cliches will go a lot further.
And posting up some smart pics perhaps of your athletic body may get you more attention. |

It seems that you are hanging on tot he fact you are an ex Marine. LOL
I know loads of Marines as family member is still in the RM's and me brother in law is an ex Royal. Funny how you class yourself as EX Marine as most will say once a Royal always a Royal. But that alone will not guarantee you anything on here. You need to sell yourself. x |

there is some of that in that some people do fine those who trade on there job to be better than others distasteful at best....
but to trade on a job you dont do anymore is a first for me..... |

OP, pretty much echo most of whats been said on here about you sounding a bit desperate, then again you aint the only one on here who does that..
do find the fact that you feel the need to brag about the QGM, respect that you were awarded it but it jus makes you look a bit shallow..
