I would like to see some sort of 'checklist' or guide for people to refer to when they are describing their body type in their profile - I'm not sure whether I'm slim or curvy!
I know that people make their own minds up about someone else's body type but what do you all think - a good idea?  |

I didn't do it to get noticed though - I get enough attention thanks! I just posted an innocent thread because it had got me thinking, after seeing what people describe themselves as in their profiles. I might forget posting in the forums now - it seems to me that there are vultures ready to pounce on whatever you voice an opinion about  |

But previous threads on the same subject mostly get comments in the vein of 'attention seeking'. So why should this be an exception?
As for terminology - I like the word 'zaftig' - (of a woman) having a full, rounded figure; plump.

You look slim in some pics and curvy in others, so I have no idea what you should describe yourself as, sorry. Anyway, regardless of all that, you have an amazing figure, and I'm envious! |

Personally, I do have trouble when having to choose a pre- determined body type on websites. I'm fat, there's never a fat option. It's called curvy ample or bbw. I'm none of those. Please don't look at my profile and comment. I don't like the attention |

I didnt say you did it to get noticed, I was just commenting on the different response the question received because it was posted by a woman not a man.
To be fair, you did then go on to ask people to comment about your figure specifically which to many will come across as "look at me".
On a site like this it pays to be a bit less sensitive, if you post on a public forum you have to "take the rough with the smooth", its all about people being free to express their own opinions based on their interpretation of the OP and subsequent posts, not all of them will be to the OP's liking in most cases. |
