There are a few polyamory socials on meetup dot com. I would like to go, but my closest is London. Would be interesting meeting other like minded people on a social basis. |

Polyamory is where a person is capable and activly loving more than one person. It isn't like swinging or have anything to do with it. There was a very interesting documentry on it last year with Louis Theroux. Looked into the world of 4 people living together. 2 girls 2 guys. Girs were together and each girl with each guy. They only had one on one intimacy and didn't all come together sexually. So 5 relationships all going on amongst them. Was rather complex. It isn't a lifestyle to just go into out of curiosity. Sex can be just sex but emotions with multiple partners can be damaging. I can be with someone in this world but I would want their love to myself.
Was an interesting programe.i find it hard to love one person let alone more. |

Polyamory is not for everybody, and its often misunderstood. It's more than just having multiple partners. Its about seeing the person that you love happy. Compersion. If I love someone, it would make me happy seeing them with someone else, either sexually or emotionally. Seeing them happy makes me happy.
But like I said, its not for everybody. |

Poly is the way forward in my opinion. I have practised this for about a decade, but only come to self define in this way for about a year (I hadn't heard of the concept before then).
It takes time and brings up some difficult emotions sometime, but doesn't life in general??
Poly pride!!!!! |

"Was on TV the other night about a village in USA where the men have more than one wife and loAds of kids and they all live together "
I saw that one. Not fair that the women can only have one though. Also neither sex got to choose their partners did they? |

Try reading Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan and Polyamory in the 21st century by Deborah Anapol.
It is something we're eager to do again having had a relationship with another man that lasted for a year in Japan, its just finding the right person or people |
