"how far is too far? just had a couple say that half hour from theirs to mine is too far!! " There will be 20 people within 10 minutes of most of us, I don't travel at all, always meet at my house. so even 5 minutes would be too far for me.
We are all different, and most people think the grass is greener, the further it is away. |

I do not accommodate out of choice and prefer to use the facilities of a local budget hotel 10min on foot from mine.
This way, I can pop back home to check up on the pets, before returning to the hotel for more fun, if that is on the card.
Otherwise, I just head home to sleep in my own bed.
The gent is welcomed to use the room the way he sees fit after I am gone, and I normally pay for the room.

Depends where you live I suppose. The comment about 20 people within 10 miles is total rubbish for a lot of members on Fab I'd have to travel about an hour for any meet. |

I will meet people hundreds or thousands of miles away, if it coincides with other stuff. Some find it harder to get meets, so I guess they are more flexible. If you have friends and family elsewhere, then a meet by them is an added reason to see them. Dont know stats, but half an hour is probably typical on todays busy roads, and longer in rush hour. |

For me distance isn't an issue. I like to travel and i enjoy seeing different parts of the UK.
..But, i don't think everyone shares the same view nor do they think we are genuinely willing to travel for meets.
Although, all this would depend on who it is i'm meeting and how much i know them/trust them.

I've done 90 minutes each way before, but i knew him & we met in the middle.
30 mins is nothing. An hour is about usual for me.
20 people within 10 minutes. Nope there's much more than that but i wouldn't play with them.
Not on my doorstep & all that |

for the majority of members, if they do a location search at least 20 members will pop up within 10 miles, for many 50 people. there will always be exceptions, so the simple answer is to move, if you don't like travel! |

Im sure if i did a search from where fabs says i live there would be more than 100 people. For fabs purposes i live on the edge of a big city.
If i did a search from where my post & i come home too there would be less. But Im not going to out myself for a shag.
Because of clubs, socials and what not its not necessary to move or do those on my doorstep. even if the hottest fabs member lived in my village, i wouldn't go there.
Im simply not desperate enough to do the closest to where i live. |

For a daytime meeting where I am not staying probably an absolute maximum of 2 hours drive. When I am staying over it becomes less of an issue. I'll travel for the right people quite happily...I enjoy the trip |
