This might sound like an odd question to ask on a swinging site but I ask it because of recent conversations I have had..which led me to question it.
So...do you frequent this site JUST for sex? Or is there more to it for you? |

For us it is not all about sex it is about getting to know others in an intimate way and having that little extra teasing on social nights out that only intimate friends can have . |

no, its for the social side too.
having a laugh in the forums.
finding people that, hopefully, and maybe, become friends in the vanilla world too
sex is way down the list and its why i cringe when i see people saying its a sex site |

It probably was initially but now I use it for ...
keeping in touch with friends
perving on new and old contacts
banter in the forums
searching out new conquests ... I'm looking so much more than just sex now !!!

I must say I enjoy the social side very much too. There is a lot to be said for being able to relax in like minded company and be yourself completely. I am single (boo hoo! Lol) but if I were in a relationship I can see how close it could bring you. |

Social side is a must meeting others to chat and see if chemistry is there and getting naughty talking about sex and what you all love to do is a turn on in its self penetration don't even have to come into it really its a turn on just chatting and flirting too  |

It not just about sex.I would say a lot of it is social.A club or a night out getting to know each other and having fun.Then if the sex happens just go with it.Swinging has a lot to do with the social side for me aswell. |

As we don't shag anything that moves it's more than just sex. But, and there is a but, we aren't here looking for close friendships. We have couples on here that we often see and bump in to at clubs and parties but wouldn't go on holiday with them etc. socials are great for getting to know people and generally we find nice couples know other nice couples.. |

I think this sums it up quite nicely for us too.....certainly not looking to make best friends with people as I like to keep our sex life separate from "normal" life. |

I have many real life friends on here so i can't say i use the forums or site 'just for sex'
I meet at events & clubs for socials too, which again isn't strictly for sex. I have however been lucky & met with some diamonds for sex |

Over the last four years after my marriage breakup I withdrew and kept myself to myself but I have said that in 2014 I want a social and a sex life, even if I'm still not ready for a relationship in the traditional sense so this seemed the perfect place. |

Sex and social are not mutually exclusive. I joined for sex but have met people who are now friends.
I have however also met people who I would not want as a friend. It reflects life.
I wonder sometimes if some folk join Fab because it is free and not because they actually want to have fun with others?

I started off as "just sex", but later found that bonds can be formed and friends can be made.
Given my vanilla friends and swinging friends may not mix as well as ideal world may hope if both groups ever met (picture the "How did you meet?" questions being asked by vanilla friends, lol).
I've embraced all the aspects of swinging, the social as well as the play side,.. I wouldn't go so far as to say sex is down the priority (as it is actively high, the randy bastid I am) but other aspects have come up the priority to match.
