Most weeks we go to our local club , The Lodge Iin Gloucester where they hold a free social on a Wednesday night .
There is an option to play too , so it's not strictly a social , hence the point of this post .
We regularly update our status , and advertise meets for the aforementioned club and night , and 90% of the folk who say ' great , see you there ' simply don't turn up !
It's the same for others who do the same . Is it the fear factor of it being a club ?
It certainly can't be that they think we will let them down as we never have , and we have good verifications .
Since we have to get a babysitter and can't accommodate this club option is our main choice for play , so the frustration of no shows can be annoying ! |

It's similar with dogging. You get a message, name the location if you are attracted and then 90% don't show.
I think a lot of people get off on the idea of arranging things.
At least with a club/dogging there are other peeps there to have fun with.  |

"Very true Tina , another reason why we choose to meet at clubs . It's a wee bit chilly for outdoor fun at the moment though !"
I agree - it's the close season for dogging for me. Longjohns, thermal vest and a big coat really hurt my look.

This is true , and more often than not it's a better night when we don't advertise !

To be honest we have tried putting meets up but nearly all the people we have met have been at clubs, we tend to use fab as a way of keeping in contact with them |

Tends to be the same for us , a bit of a shame really as the build up and anticipation of a new meet can be exciting .

I agree but so few and far between it's easier to meet genuine people at clubs, we looked at going to the lodge Saturday but it's got an event in that probably won't suit us |
