we are having trouble with a single guy (on this site) who knows us. he has shown my children our pics!!!!. our children have no idea who he is, so we can't block his profile. is there any way we can block all single males from seeing our profile until we know who he is so we can then block him?. |

First thing to say is how.
Has a randon man walked up to your kids and said here look at these pics? How does he know your kids?
You have full face pics in your main gallery which is very unsafe especially if you have kids.
So sorry to hear your problems.
This man would have to had local knowledge of you all? ?? |

Unfortunately you can't block specific groups from viewing your profile. Best thing to do is to put all your pics into friends only or private and hide your profile. |

...is why asking for a face pix or having them on your public gallery a dreadful risk to take. Especially when those who demand for one do not have any of themselves.
First, take your facial pictures off the public gallery, send it with your mails or make them available to your friends...
You can then sieve through your friends to know who shouldn't be there. |

A stranger approached your children and showed them pornographic images on a bus and you haven't contacted the police?
The fact that these images are of their parents ate beside the point. This is child abuse and possibly even assault. You have a duty of care to your children and in my opinion their safety should override any concerns about your embarrassment.
If he is thinks this is acceptable who know what else he thinks is ok. Paedophiles who groom children often use pornographic images as part of the process. |

Children became child and even if the child or children did know who he was it wouldn't help out with finding his profile on here I doubt he goes by his user name in real life.

all buses have cctv now, so the police can use it to find who it is.
they only need to know which bus it was |

Nearly all buses have CCTV, the Police can view these and identify the person approaching your child, all they need is the date time of journey |

I have to say this is very odd.
West brom well there buses are covered by cctv, and if someone showed my kids porn then I would have rung the police by now and wouldn't be posting it on this forum I'd have done it in a heart beat to secure the cctv footage and secure if not a conviction but at the very least a warning.
My embarrassment comes no where; in, the keeping my little ones safe & if I thought I'd been outed or picked up a stalker my profile would go quicker than anything you've ever seen in life.

Ok heres my personal view on this,if i knew you or where you live i would be reporting YOU to the Police and social services for allowing your Child or Children to be abused by an adult and not reporting it, As a Parent you have a duty of care.

Personally, protecting my kids would be far more important than protecting a profile on here.
If you believe that this has happened, it sounds like a matter for the Police as others have said.
Given its a very serious (and illegal) issue its not appropriate for the forums and so Im closing the thread now. |
