Any European car, built for people of "European dimensions" is better than a far-eastern car built for people who are a little smaller in stature.
Don't believe me? Try being 6ft 2ins and kneeling down in the front footwell, in order to get a good position for the lady in the passenger seat. I failed in that task in a Honda Prelude, and all the contorting around trying to get feet and legs comfortable had a negative effect on another very important bit of your body! What I found was that it much easier in a BMW or a Volvo (see...built for man sized people by man sized people lol)

Not sure whether it counts as the best car, but once we went to pick up a new sofa from Sheffield in a hired van. We got a little horny on the way back coming over the Pennines so pulled over somewhere near Crowden and got busy in the back of the van.
