"we were just wondering if anyone on here use the Desire or Matchmaker contact magazines before everything went on the internet.
"
I used to browse them. Think we even tried contacting one or two, but it could get an expensive waste of time. At least time wasters on a swinging site, such as this, don't usually end up costing financially. Unless you have laid out money for a meet, of course. |

There were fewer time wasters in the magazine era. The whole process was more complex and time consuming - that put some people off plus you almost always had to be able to receive mail, proper letters with stamps, at your home address.
Stealing pics off the Internet wasn't as easy then either. |

we used to enjoy getting letters almost daily from contacts, still get the odd reply from ads they must still repeat now and thwen.
I think if they made good money from your ads , they tend to repeat them; trouble is I have a different wife now lol |

I've had 3 long term relationships and they were swinging relationships and we used desire and matchmaker.
We made videos and took loads of pics the old way with a 35mm camera
Now me and my horny wife meet guys for fun but do not make videos , it's all just horny fun.
It was great fun the old way with contact mags, but with our hectic work schedule ,fab works better for us. |

I used to read Desire back in the late mid 90's. Great articles and interesting reading about others kinks and turn ons before the internet made everything Vanilla!
Contacts were long winded and expensive plus you had to use specialist photo development companies if a couple wanted proof of what you have to offer! Ahhhh happy memories.

Oh the Loot. Those were the days.
That was the paper that got me into swinging, and had some really good meets from it, including one couple that introduced me to my first swinger club (A&E Eccles)
I also found one long term relationship from it.
Seems so long ago now. |

I began in the early 80s contact magazine 'NORTHERN LINK'.
though it was just a cheaply put together pamphlet, maybe 30 0or 40 pages of contacts with B%W pics.
It was the start of something that I am still enjoying with my wife today. |
