Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Now that i am over 55 ( seems to be a turning age for many ) it would seem that all my hair falls out , my teeth go bad and fall out ,my mind goes completely ,my hearing becomes impaired,my memory isnt what it was ,my cock is always flacid and not able to perform and my zimmer frame wouldnt fit into a room. And all of this as i have become 56 today LOL -- amazing what happens over night !!!

Dont fret. I am over 55 and still have all my faculties.

It will only be a problem for you if you allow it to become one.

Happy Birthday...

I dont understand this thing about people assuming we lose our teeth past 50. I have all mine bar one and my mouth is healthy. Surely with regular dental care these days most of us keep our teeth..

except those that frequent jeremy kyle of course as they rarely have any even at 20. ewww ..

I am now getting in on a bit in age but still has a huge sexual appetite and looking for females or couples I can share it with around Inverness area.

Do not be put off by age, discuss what you are looking for

I had chemo and radio and had problems with my hair and teeth in my thirties!

I try and look at the person as a whole not at the hair to teeth ratio.

I just hope the people I meet will be hygienic and clean and fresh.

Oddly enough though I broke a tooth some 15 yrs ago which had to be removed last year when it got infected, then another removed 6 months later. So whilst I do look after my teeth by visiting the dentist regularly, he has said I will probably lose all of my teeth but didn't explain why in good English that I could understand, maybe its cos I am an old codger now

Until someone looks they have no idea how old you are so a daft thing to say really and besides having 22 in your profile name and a very poor profile picture suggests maybe that is how old you are and not 55

There's a link between dental infection and a heart condition called endocarditis (which you REALLY don't want to get).

My understanding is that the risk increases in over 50s and that one way of reducing the risk is a complete tooth clear out.

it seems to me that people find it incredible that anyone in their fifties is active and vital. Why is that?

Cos up until one or two generations ago, most over 50s weren't active and vital. Cardigans and slip on shoes were the order of the day.

Yes that's true but that was then....this is now. I do get a bit fed up when people patronise me because I'm over fifty and still upright

OK. Nowadays. I suspect the largest age group on Fab is early 20s to late 30s. For those members, 50s is their parents generation and that's a big psychological jump - just as some Fabsters insist on 'nobody young enough to be my child'.

I understand. Younger members get patronised too especially the younger men but I'm over fifty and I want to feel special and as if I'm the only one who's had done by...now have I had my tea yet?

That's bollox ! U search for a particular category and it gives the age / ages 22 is just a number and seems to be more than the average brain cells available on this site !

Kettering

I'm 62 and visit one particular club almost every week. In the past 4 days I've visited two different clubs and had a great time at both, playing with people in quite a wide age range. I'm never pushy and wait to be invited to play or ask if I can join in. It's a sexual attraction thing not really related to age. Obviously as we get older our bodies change but that shouldn't stop us having fun. Roll on tomorrow's NYE party!
