"It happens, if you realise after he ejaculates then it's upto you to get the necessary checks "
Why only after the male ejaculates? He doesn't need to orgasm for STIs to be transferred or for the lady to fall pregnant.

Because the risk is increased with the fact the condom is designed to hold the ejaculate. I guess you're right though, the tests should still be done regardless. |

"any particular brand prone to splitting"
Don't bother with textured or ribbed, they're weaker than the rest
They all start off the same thickness but any ribs and texture is pressed into them, meaning the areas between are much thinner than standard.

"anybody ever had this happen to them "
Happened to me once. We had a 4 sum at a club and I was shagging a lovely woman. We got up after being exhausted and realised what happened. She said "where's the other bit?" After searching inside herself for a while she eventually found it. We collapsed laughing but that was years ago and many tests later all been negative so it was ok. Funny at the time but oh............ |

happened to me twice, and yes was scared after it had happened till I got the test results.
what I do now it wear two, put the first one on, cover it in deep heat, and put the other over the top, if the lady starts to scream, you know its split and time to pull out |

Words of advice:
1. Baby oil (and some other oils) cause latex to split, so don't use any oils on yourselves before using a condom.
2. Stick to well-known brands and avoid cheap, lesser-known ones. |

A few times, which is why now I practice two forms of contraception - the pill and condoms as hate forking out twenty odd quid for the morning after pill when the GUM clinic is closed.
Also I have blood tests every three months and swabs every month when I am actively swinging. If one person is infected with a virus, I know I have a better chance of winning the who infected who argument.
A lot of effort of three minutes of bareback sex |
