"one of my fbs has a bad scar on his shoulder he was in shock when I kissed it better turned out he has always been conscious of it"
Sweet.
I think it's a little easier for men with scars...
Scars are a part of you! I have stretch marks and hate them but they don't seem to bother others so it definitely helps in the confidence department. |

"Sexy no. But not something i would be put off by.
A person is a person, scars and all.
As long as that person is comfortable in their own skin, all is good "

I have a couple of small ones on my right leg where metalwork was put in following a bad break. No one really notices them unless I point them out, I suppose some people can be conscious of them but I'm happy to tell people the story of my bionic leg |

Scars are not a turn off, its part of the person & their history, part of what made them who they are today.
As for stretch marks on a woman, it shows that the tiger earnt her stripes and nothing to be conscious about. xx |

I've had facial surgery and have scars. I wear prosthetics. I've lost an inch and a half of bone top and bottom. My meets seem ok, I tell them before.
I feel down about it tho.
Finally! |

They are part of what makes us who we are they are signs of having lived life. They may not be pretty but they demand respect and having met people with quite severe scarring it is not something that would put me off. I have a couple myself. |

I always thought that chicks dig scars.
On a serious note they don't bother me if someone has scars, i have loads of them from different incidents. It is all part of life. |

In certain contexts I think they are an interesting feature. They usually mark an event or incident in a person's life. I've got 2 facial scars, so perhaps I'm biased. |

Can't see how a scar "demands respect" but hey ho! |

I think it would depend on where it was and how it came to be. I don't think c section scars, stretch marks or scars from operations are sexy as such but they're not unattractive either. I've been told that your skin tells your life story so they are neither good nor bad, just part of the story. I like scars though if they have their own interesting tale. CAM |

Met a few ladies with scars . All were concious of them while clothes were coming off but were soon forgotten. Its only natural for people to have scars so don't worry about them |

Mine is lengthwise down my stomach and is disguised a lot by the stretchmarks I got from pregnancy. I have a deliberate full body shot so guys know what they are getting.
None of them bother me though the base of the scar can itch occasionally. I am neither ashamed nor proud of them. It's just my body. |

I agree. Sometimes it's a feature of having been through a time of great pain or torment such as an accident or an operation to remove a cancer. Other times it's a feature of a new life such as a birth, a celebration.
Other times it's a feature of self harm. I've also seen these scars on close family and seen them get over their emotional trauma and move on. In these cases the scars are the signs of a battle won.
I don't think scars are sexy - interesting and a part of the person I sleep with. But never detrimental or deforming. It's what makes a person who they are |

Btw, I meant I've got 2 scars on my face, not 2 scars from receiving facials. Just wanted to clear that up. |

Do they bother me....sometimes have they bothered our meets.....never do I think they are sexy....nope but I feel sexy because I'm here and get to enjoy life to the max have a hubby who adores every inch.
Plus it seems everyone has some kind of story on their body and I enjoy reading xx |
