I'm wondering. If a guy responds to an open invitation by an other fella trying to organise a social get together at a pub/cafe etc. Is it a little too cautious just to kindly inform the man whose organising the event that you haven't got some hidden agenda to wanting to meet him?

For the record i'm hetrosexual and don't have any qualms about another persons male/female alternative sexuality. I don't say that i'm straight because the guy i think might be gay or bi. Just in case he's straight and isn't sure why a man might be respodning to his ad. It's one thing if its a couple or a single woman. But its another when you're both of the same sex.

I realise that the guy can check out my profile for him self but i just like to make it clear that all i'm interested in his getting to know other fellow swingers on a social level. Being relatively new to the site its what i'm hoping to do in the near future.

So i'm i being overly cautious and maybe even paranoid or there nothing wrong in just amiably pointing out a certain fact so wires don't get crossed?

nothing wrong with making friends while your here, I've made quite a few friends with straight guys and we do get together for a drink and a laugh nothing more mind, its good to be around people who have the same interests as you and are happy to talk about it

Communication is everything in this life style, it can save a lot of misunderstanding and disappointment at a later stage. So as honest as possible as early as possible .. always works for us.

As you are actually thinking about how to phrase things... it seems to me you are on the right track

Best of luck x
