hi does anyone else think that fab has gone very quiet and there are a lot more time wasters on fab a group of us males and couples think the same think whats your views on this |

it seems very quiet atm ,, being a single woman im finding it hard to get a meet some days ,, and yes loads more time wasters ,, |

Totally agree with the op ... always is this time if the year .
Even clubs are not that busy .
Usually picks up again February
Timewasters seem more prevalent as there are less genuine folk to find

Same as it's ever been here. Sending out the carefully worded individually tailored messages. Getting 99% knockbacks....... But the other 1% mmmmmmmmmm well worth the effort.
I do find that very often people who complain about timewasters or can't get a meet are people I've messaged and got no reply from

I hate to say it...but it's the festive season..we have kids parties, Carol concerts, school plays, family get togethers, last minute shopping, work parties and not forgetting busy jobs
Maybe just maybe that's why it's quiet ? Just because your busy doesn't make you a time waster...it's called LIFE ! |

nope and.... erm.... nope
and timewaster is such an easy term to throw out there because it put all the issues else and leave the other person blameless...
people have this habit of using the term "timewaster" is someone doesn't want to go at the same speed as them.... or have the audacity to say no thanks...
you are only having your "time wasted" if you are doing something you wouldn't be doing otherwise..... so if you would have been here anyway... thats not time wasted... |

Well this "group" ought to look at a few things about your selection process before you go on about time wasters.
What are you and your group planning on doing anyway? Having a revolution and seizing control of the site to create a new system where people have to meet you to prove they're "genuine". |

Nope we haven't delt with timewasters for a long time, maybe cause we block early if we think they are, we find things go quiet this time of year as its a busy time of year for most, for us Nov through to Feb is our busiest time with family and commitments so the social side and meeting side goes on hold |

In my experience (10 years) it always gets quieter this time of year I blame fair weather swingers lol. As for more timewasters that maybe the case as fab has had it's fair share of public exposure lately, I refer to the tumblr and Wales social incidents. However you learn pretty quickly in this game who is and who isn't for you so in all reality you should've able to spot the time wasters pretty quickly. One of the most common piece of advise on timewasters threads is, if you keep getting caught out then look at your selection process. |

It may be the season that makes it appear quieter to some but I haven't noticed that.
As for time wasters.....I'm reposting what I posted on another time waster thread two days ago
"The thing with all these so called time wasters is the only constant in your communications with them is you.
If you are having a lot of issues, change your selection process and strategy. Also the widely agreed definition of a time waster is someone that arranges to meet and doesn't turn up without letting you know. Everyone has a real life and sometimes it gets in the way or people just change their mind....it's allowed.
In just over 4 years I've had two no shows, so the site really isn't riddled with time wasters, it's riddled with people who think people are time wasters if they don't play in the same way as them."

I seem to be getting more messages this time of the year, than I have in 3 years lol.
..although, everyone is still a bit too far away from me. So, finding someone relatively local is proving to be hard..
