how can people not get suspicious when someone who is saying they love them and have been chatting to for years doesnt have a cam of some sort in this day and age.
they should definately do a UK version |

We love the show, like they say if it's too good to be true it more than likely isn't,
What amazes me is they have doubts enough to email catfish but can't be arsed to do half hours research themselves |

I haven't watched it but I understand the premise.
Why have these people gone through the effort to make up fake personas but then made (I assume) very little effort to cover their tracks? |

love this program!
I was laughing my head off the other day when this girl thought she was talking to the rapper bow wow! So she contacted catfish and the guys did the whole internet investigation bit, I was thinking, why didn't they just ring bow wow and ask him?!
Needless to say it wasn't bow wow lol |

Oh I just looked it up and apparently the 'relationship' is normally over AND they both have to agree to be on the show before production starts AND it's usually the 'catfish' who gets in touch with them.
It's like it's all just for entertainment. Oh well. As long as the hills was real. |
