Fab'd photos - stroking the ego or other?

There seems to be an increase in requests from people on the site asking for their photo's to be fab'd
What is the benefit, apart from stroking the ego of the person in the pic, to being top fab'd pic or at least in the running?
Am I missing out on a cash prize for for fabs?
Or is this purely vanity?

We look at fabbing as a way od complimenting another person. We fab pics we like the look of, irrespective of whether we think the subjects are likely to be possible friends.
We kind of take it that way too when someone fabs our pics.
We tend to ignore requests for fabbing. A little too vain for us.

We fab pictures we like and obviously like to be fabbed.
But the most fabbed pages are a joke, same few people all the time. And as for those who actively seek out that their pictures be fabbed, I think it is pretty pathetic and suggests a needyiness that is most unattractive. |

We fab other peoples photos but don't have ours enabled, we used to post on a site that had a top ten most votes hit parade  and it was amazing the number of people touting for votes, we used to post for the fun of it, not hoping to have a Christmas No1  |

We don't tend to get a lot of fabs, but do enjoy getting them, because it lets us see the pics that people want to see VS the pics people are not so sure on. So that means we get to remove the duds, and try new ones, hoping to better our profile... If that makes sense? C xx |

We tend to fab the photos that have had some thought put into them and look great and the odd tongue in cheek ones, we think it's a fun thing more than anything and hell who doesn't love an ego massage on occasion, of course there's always the fun of trying to work out how some of the most fabbed photos got so many votes lol but the please fab my photos threads are a touch needy xx |

we fab and people fab us. Its a bit of lighthearted fun, can be a precursor to further contact and its quite interesting to see which photos attract the most fabs...not always the ones we think. Neither of us have any interest in getting on the most fabbed thing, which is just as well since its about as likely as hell freezing over |

cant be about vanity if you have to ask or beg.
when we have pics fabbed (mostly V, although im not bitter) it can be an ego boost, not only for her, as she looks good in them, but for my photography skills, as not many people fab badly taken pics.
not only that, but its generally my idea of the setting, situation and pose, she is just the rather appealing, subject matter lol.

I like a pic - I'll fab it. No other motive, no expectancy of anything else or that the profile I'm fabbing will even notice/care.
Likewise - it's nice to get fabbed pics but honestly it wouldn't bother me if I never did.
The site managed perfectly well before fabbing was an option and nobody seemed to worry! I do agree that there's a few who take it a little too seriously for my liking - but then they can use the site how they want. doesn't affect me in any way as I never look at the most fabbed and will never fab on request! |

I don't bother to look who have fabbed me. Mind you I don't look who have winked or sent friend invites. Its not because I am up myself but just not really that interested.
I fab pics I like and regardless of wanting to get jiggy with them or not lol |

We like to perv at others and if thay look good to us we fab them. We also get a ego boost when ours ar fab'ed and alway have a look at there profile because you just never know. X  |

We like to fab pictures that stand out to us and that we find sexy just like we like to see our pics fabbed hopefully for the same reasons. Nothing wrong with a bit of appreciation (and a little perv or inspiration  ) |

i like having my pics fabbed and like to fab other peoples too.
i wouldnt ask people to fab mine though, thats the sort of thing you would expect a teenager to do. |

Its a game for some ego boost for others and a method of contact for more it doses no harm though so no need to worry about it is there? |

I'm shallow - I really enjoy it when someone likes my pics enough to fab them. It's like saying you look good, or I think you are fuckable, or perhaps that brick wall I'm leaning on is really well pointed |

I love looking at pics, I wish the guys were as snap happy as us chicks though!

We fab pics as a sign of appreciation, but we find having our pics fabbed such a turn on, I love knowing that people have enjoyed looking at them and maybe getting turned over them. I'm an exhibitionist though, so that's what I'm in too.

I enjoy fabbing pics, it's just a way of giving a compliment and that's how i see it if mine are fabbed.
However for the attention seekers, if they have to ask then they ain't worth fabbing is my opinion. |
