Right I am going to be honest and to hell with the back lash!
The guy has asked about gym bunnies to which I answered I wasn't one! But any BBW thread is met with such high regard, and how dare anyone slag them off and us petite ladies are either slagged off as bags of bones! Hello? I'm not a bag of bones but I am a size 6!

I have on my profile that I like very tall fit younger men and I don't see the problem with that. It's my profile, my preference and I've been very lucky to have met some during my visits on fab.
I'm not a gym bunny, far from it. I'm not everyone's cup of tea but not every tall fit man is mine either!  |

Agreed, people are entitled to be attracted to gym fit types if that's why they like. Personally I'm into a variety of women, but do like to admire the beauty of a woman who has taken the time to build up her strength and fitness x |

Doesn't bother me in the slightest (unless they are abusive about it grrrr  ). But yeah, I don't think you'll find many on here  |

Ms Hx I train in a boxing gym hence coming from a boxing family so theres not many gym women in my club
Secondly I was just stating what I like in a woman so never expected replys from women saying pick me !! I like a personality aswell as a fit Arse |

I must be missing something as I don't see anyone giving the OP a hard time. I see banter. I see others suggesting that all the gym fit women are married or dating with no time to be on fab. Again I will assume this is just banter.
I have been to lots of socials and clubs. I see gym fit ladies there all the time. These ladies clearly look after themselves and look fantastic. I on the other hand just have no will power.
OP get yourself to some large socials. You will find plenty there. X |

I go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week - unfortunately I eat cake more!
I have absolutely no issues with anyone's preference, it all about personal choice. (I twitched a bit at the inference that if you are overweight you do not take care of yourself - but that could be me !) |

if i may, people do give the chubby chasers a hard time, they are often called the white knights of the forums because they tell the fatties that they are beautiful because some people cannot see what they are attracted to and either do they have to, but to say that no one gives them a hard time is an inacuracy. |

There are BBW threads all the time, just search back and take a look. It doesn't matter if it starts with someone saying they like large women or don't like large women, they always end up with large women being insulted. Then someone will get defensive or will try to curry favour and will insult slim women.
It never ends well. Fat women get more abuse and insults on here than slim women or men of any build.
I've seen it said numerous times that Fab is where fat women come to get laid because we can't manage it in "the real world".
It's also fairly common for men bitter about not getting meets, or butthurt about getting turned down again, to post about the unreasonable expectations of these uppity women that they wouldn't look twice at in the pub, (but were good enough on here until they said no).
By the way, it's possible to be a regular "gym girl" and be fat. Not all fatties are sedentary and lazy. |

Thats all absolutely fine until in one of the ops quotes he said you can tell a lot about a person because they are "gym fit" and take care of themselves. He was doing fine until then but that bit is kind of a slant yet again on, in this instance the larger lady. I just don't see the need really to insult anyone. We all have our preferences and thank god for threads like this because it just affirms in my head that my preferences are wholly right for me! |

Very happy to be your personal trainer. I can show you a few "routines"
When I workout at home MissD is my personal trainer and due to her being a gym instructor she's very good at what she does.
So much so her clients used to call her "little Hitler".
Back to the OP. Nothing wrong with stating a particular preference. I see it all the time on profiles whether it be in relation to size, age, race, location etc...
We all can't like the same things in life.

At my gym the attendance is about 50/50 men and women. These women vary in size from 6 to 20+. Who are you looking for as they are all gym fit ??

I get a few women saying things to me like 'clearly you like slim women best' and similar, but as I often say I'm attracted to who I'm attracted to - yes I certainly DO like the gym fit look as its something I enjoy myself, but that doesn't mean I rule out the larger girl altogether as some of them I find very attractive, and couldn't imagine them any smaller, their weight just seems to suit them. What bothers me is those, both male and female who constantly try to perpetuate this 'us and them' mentality, as though slim and large people are in some way totally incompatible and need to be constantly involved in this conflict over who's superior.
Can't people just be people, and attracted to whom they want to be? |

I honestly think, and i'm sure i'll get shot down for saying this but the vast majority of men who don't like big women are put off by their attitude rather than their looks, you only have to read some of the profiles with saying like....i'm a big girl so if you don't like jog on or if you like slim stop reading now, some come over as being quite aggressive and having a massive chip on their shoulder enough to put anyone off mailing them
ok if your big you may feel the need to make people awear of this, as my profile does, but you can make people awear of what you look like without being arsey and rude about it |

It's all good until the fat bashing starts though isnt it? Like I said in my first post everyone like who they like there os nothing wrong in stating their preference its when the insults start people start squabling.
Saying a woman who takes care of herself ie gym fit says alot about there type of person she is will not garner positive feedback because he is slating other people in order to praise his type, same thing happens on the bbw thread when slim women get called a bag of bones, neither is acceptable, jusy say what u like without having to put other people down.
It's insecurity on both sides, these threads always bring out the worst in people. |

Totalky agree. Every one is entitled to a preference.
Give the OP a break he prefers gym fit girls, I prefer athletic under 40d red headed men...doesn't mean I have anything against other men, hair colours, builds or ages, it's just my preference.

This post is not a wind up its just my preference I like women who look after themselves and what man on here on fab wouldn't give to have a nice round peachy arse in his hands to bite and nibble "
The suggestion that only lean, toned women look after themselves is rather offensive. I respect your preferences but you could sometimes phrase things a bit better. |

Some of us fat women could not care less that some men only want to meet slim women.
I'd like to see a bit more thought in some of the comments though. As per my comment above, it's not just lean and toned women who look after themselves. Indeed, some lean and toned women would probably horrify the OP. There was a woman at the gym I used before I moved who had bushy underarm hair and hairy legs. Her body was amazing in terms of physique though. |
