Is it wrong to kindly ask someone to not contact you again after someone fails to show? If I make the effort to get myself looking sharp I expect to see someone!

Definitely not unreasonable! You've made the effort, why would you waste time talking with them again and risk them doing a no show again, when you can move on to pastures new and meet somebody who WILL show up? Sorry that happened to you, I've had it done to me.

I'm not overly fussed they couldn't meet, I just expect a message an hour or so before scheduled time saying they can't do it! Not enough people have courtesy and respect for others I'm afraid!

Kindly ask them? Waw you're polite. I would have reported them for a no show and blocked them! Better luck next time

If we have met them previously then we will accept a cancellation, anyone who cancels first meet is immediately blocked especially as our first meets are always socials with no pressures to play

Some folks do have genuine reasons why they can't meet, but I do think it's rude not to at least call/text a reasonable time before hand, especially if the other party has had to travel any distance. I would hate to have driven 50 or so miles to a meet, then not have them show up.

In the middle

Most of us have genuine reasons to not meet form time to time, however I think you soon get to know the good from the bad

Love the title

Up to you, allow then to explain or block.

Ample others on here

I wouldn't like to say without knowing a little back story, and as it's on here I dont want or need a back story.

It's not always possible to give notice but it's rare that you can't send a quick text
