Men cheat; women exercise choice. Bi men are perceived to be by some max risk for HIV.

we say no married men, we don't meet single women so it isn't an issue but if we did we wouldn't meet married women either. Also the same applies with bi people, if bi play is a must for them there is absolutely no point in meeting us.

Its quite simple, women are much rarer than males on here, and thusly are given more liberties as a result, married or not.

Personally I don't meet married women playing without their partners consent, and have missed out on many meets as a result.

I saw a woman's profile once that said "No knobs!"

As she was straight - fuck knows why she bothered joining the site!

Ironically, although she didn't want knobs, she had a fine pair of love handles.

I would agree with this and have encountered the same ...only re: men obviously but...how do you know they actually have the partner's blessing?

I don't, and appreciate that the woman in question could be lying about being in an open relationship, but I'm not going to ask for a written consent form or anything. The main thing is that I don't feel I'm helping someone cheat.

We wouldn't knowingly meet a married man or woman who was playing away.

But each to their own.

Trust.

Though it's important to be discerning when making decisions on who you want to swing with, at the same time I don't want to be so guarded as to be suspicious of everyone I meet.

HIV is just as rampant amongst "straight" people because there's still sex happening and people not playing safe and assume the disease will not meet them because they're straight. Don't forget your hepatitis which is worse to get and that's flying around too. If you're meeting strangers male/female/gay/bisexual/straight we are all potential carriers if we don't play safe.

Do you know hepatitis stays alive in blood on the ground for 6 weeks and still contagious???????

Go educate yourselves before tarring certain people with stigmas.

Sorry but I've got to correct this, you do not, repeat do not, get hepatitis B or C, the blood borne varieties, from blood on the ground, the floor whether it has a speck of blood on it or not, is not contagious

And you are a potential to catch something even if you do play safe, condoms have a failure rate for contraception, ever thought why that is?

Condoms are a good idea, I use them as they reduce the risk, but they don't eliminate it, think of it like wearing a seatbelt, reduces your chances of dying but it can still happen

By playing on this site we all take a risk, some clearly by how they play take more risks than others

But if you think you're taking no risk than you're naive, the only safe sex is no sex and a deleted account

Good point. Thanks you for noticing we did not express it as OUR opinion even though it was taken as such.

To clarify matters: Our GUM clinic always ask us the same question. "Any contact with people from Africa or gay men?" When you ask why they say "Highest risk".

Oh, for those still worried by the 6 week survival story the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention says "How long does the Hepatitis C virus survive outside the body? The Hepatitis C virus can survive outside the body at room temperature, on environmental surfaces, for at least 16 hours but no longer than 4 days." So says the NHS. Is that less than 6 weeks on the ground?

Not in the least bit sure why we have the preferences we do. So certainly not going to try to figure out other peoples reasons, and not going to attempt top change them.

Bristol

We wont play with anyone cheating male or female and often turn down cheating females.

As for bi thing, being straight (male half) a bi guy does nothing for us, a bi female is great for Mrs as shes very bi.

But again people can lay down whatever laws they want and meet who they want.

In answer to your question OP yes, if people are open to meeting both sexes but only rule out married men and are happy to meet married women. As far as the no bi guys are concerned i see that as a preference. Not everyone likes the idea of guys having sex together it repulsed some , and that's fair enough. But as already pointed out above, bi / gay guys come as a higher risk health category so I can understand people trying to minimise this risk.

And yet again it's astonishing how some furumites seem to know more about this than the NHS.

I'll stick to what the NHS theories are I think

The highest risk category are the straight 40-60 yr olds believe it or not, we help our local GUM clinic hand out leaflets & cards to people as only 10% of active adults use the clinics which is crazy.

Hep C is is a deadly virus to catch as is HIV yet nobody worries about Hep C...get educated guys & quickly...
