Does anyone else find this phrase on a profile offputting? Or phrases such as 'Looking for a woman who can handle me'? I am looking for mutual sexy fun, not to be tested on my abilities or to see how much I can 'take'  |

Some people view sex as a competitive event rather than a mutual interaction of body and mind. They're usually the ones complaining that they can't get meets too... |

Yes very off putting . Another one is people who say they can only do daytime meets !!! Smacks of them being married . Avoid like the plague . "
Could be children there at night, carer duties, personal preference, work nights, ....

I assumed it was a comment on my profile as I only do daytime meets. However, as one of the first things I say in it is that I am married, there is little detective work required |

I always used to put a disclaimer regarding my performance in my profile. It never did me any favours, but don't see the point in claiming to be Casanova and disappointing people in the flesh. The best I can say is that I can hold my own, which is true in more ways than one. |

The phrases/questions that gets me are "how open minded are you?" Or "how dirty are you?" . I honestly never know how to answer that, I mean I'm on a swinging site and meet strangers for sex, so pretty open minded in the big scheme of things, but is there an official scale for open mindedness or dirtiness?

Men like to challenge other men at sports. This can be footy, squash, etc etc etc. The point is, by issuing the challenge, they think they can demonstrate their prowess, by winning.
Some men DON'T understand women, and they DON'T understand that sex is not a competitive sport. Those men think that by issuing the same kind of challenge to WOMEN, we will 'try to prove them wrong', by dropping our knickers.
I rate myself higher than a sportsball and I rate myself higher than the opposing team of sweaty men. Sex isn't a 'winner and loser' situation.
Anyone whose profile suggests that they view sex differently is a profile which I will pass by. |

Women use that a lot. They also stress that they are insatiable. I always assume it's just bravado but I don't find that attitude attractive |

I get just a little put off when people refer to themselves as "good looking". Puts me off straight away.
A common one is "good looking couple seek other good looking couples and singles"

Yes, yes and yes. It isn't just the men who view sex as a competition though a great many threads in the forums are women trying to outdo each other in ways they can be made to orgasm,, metres they can squirt, how they can deep throat etc. and don't even get me started on the I'm better, cleaner and sexier because I have no hair whatsoever below my eyebrows 
Its going to happen on sites like this though rather like the in crowd at school having the newest phone or trainers. |

all the things that infur a challenge mean that there is a winner and a loser, my opinion is theres not meant to be a loser in a meet, i want to make sure all my play mates enjoy themselves as much as possible but i'm also not a dildo lol |

I agree that respect goes both ways I suspect a lot of single guys get treated less than respectfully simply because they are in the majority. |

Tbh I'd say you tend to see this sort of thing on women's profiles more than mens.
I've given up mailing women now as most of the profiles near to me seem incredibly demanding and one sided and essentially wanting a sex toy rather than a bit of fun and mutual pleasure.
hell someone of therm have such long lists of demands and requirements and promises making that i just think "Christ i was looking for someone to have some fun with not a bloody second job"

maybe they arent being serious when they say that though.
if i am lucky enough to meet someone i like and feel relaxed with i will be more enthusiastic, if i meet someone who i just dont like that much for one reason or another, i just keep looking at the clock and thinking when are they going to leave. |
