have to say most of my meets have turned up with wine or vodka. but most stay over night and we have agreed to chill with a drink first. its not expected as im a good host who always has a stocked fridge. but its very nìce when people do offer a nice drinky. lol |

I've never taken anything to a meet except myself. I have had wine and chocolates brought to a meet by a friend. We drank the wine and he ate most of the chocs  |

I made cakes for a meet, actually we were supposed to share but he took them home and ate all of them within an hour

We usually take a bottle or two of wine to a meet. If it is an overnight, or they are cooking us dinner we either take chocs or flowers for the hostess.
We also always take a box of chocs or something to a house party.
This is no different than when we go to the homes of friends and family.
It is the way we were brought up. |
