women allergic to condoms...

Obviously there is a fear of sti's if you are allergic to condoms but how much does it really put you off having sex? I've came across a few women like this (no pun intended)! Obviously a lot of trust is needed with the person you're playing with...but what else would seal the deal?

There are condoms for all, latex free, allergy free, I imagine the percentage of people who couldn't use a condom is so miniscule, you will never come across one, on a sex site.

Allergic my arse!!!

There is such a thing as latex free condoms... I know as i'm one of those women who gets very sore and irritated with regular condoms and since i discovered latex free i've been a very happy bunny

It's not worth the risk whether you trust someone or not... People can and do usually tell you what you want to hear!

LATEX FREE all the way

xx

I am allergic to the lube on condoms so there is no condom for me really. I can just about use the passante unique with care but I find it insanely off-putting. It's just not worth the grief most of the time. I have a long term fb luckily who I can play with unprotected otherwise I don't know what I would have done. I go for months without sex often (which is no fun).

I react to nonoxynol 9 which is a spermicide which is on some condoms. In fact it can irritate a lot of women and can cause internal lesions which can be a risk factor in transmission of STIs.

So I always have lots of condoms that I know won't cause a problem including latex free and different sizes.

I'm allergic to latex, i cant even wear the gloves at work, but there are many condoms you can use if a certain type don't suit, i doubt anyone is allergic to every type on the market

Im allergic but it doesnt mean im willing to go bareback and risk my health though!

Theres a few latex free alternatives out there but we use Mates Skyns, if we couldnt use them then we wouldnt be swinging.

The only reason not to have sex with a condom is because you want sex without one....its as simple as that really

The condoms that I use and swear by are the non latex skynz by mates. They are by far the best condoms I have ever used.

Skyns give me the worst reaction oddly.

If I couldnt use any condoms, which is a highly unlikely scenario, then I wouldnt swing.

We usually use lube free condoms, most manufacturers make them.

Lets face it, the majority of women produce enough lube of their own and there's always bottles of lube when needed.

I (Ric) have a reaction from nonoxynol 9 spermicide too, so always get the ones without it.

There's an answer for every condom "allergy" really, it's just a question of looking for it.

Dr recommended that actually but they cause chronic fatigue. I'm taking a natural one and I have a programme of how to deal. I can get away with it but it's a massive effort! And unless the sex is good frankly not worth it. So bloody boring.

I am the same, though generally it's an excuse to make sure the evenings worth it and really push the boat out..

Yep. Simples! But not many would admit to that!

I must admit that some condoms leave me very sore. They have a drying effect and just irritate me. It can make sex quite painful and then I need a few weeks off to recover fully.

I am however working my way through different types as it happens with both latex and latex free.

I know for sure that the free ones they give at my local gum clinic irritate so I have been known to swap them with other people when I go to a club.

I bet you it's the lubrication for you too. I had a product called sylk recommended to me. It's a natural lubricant which promotes vaginal lubrication. I also use tons of coconut oil and try and use lube free condoms. There are a few kinds.

I had never even thought that it might be the lubricant.

Just wish testing the theory was not so uncomfortable.

Ask your employer to supply you with nitrile gloves, they're allergy free and are now standard issue across the health services. X

Or it could be nonoxynol 9. If your clinic hand out extra safe varieties they have spermicide on.

If this is the case then tell them you need ones without spermicide and ask if they are aware of the WHO guidelines on the stuff. Even the NHS says that nonoxynol 9 can increase the risk of transmission of STIs.
