Odd/Unique/Normal?

I found out the other day that when it comes to films that have a "storyline". This person doesn't like it when anything to do with sex comes up in the film and the stronger it is. The more they don't like the film as its irrelevant to the film and as they cut the actual film in half to fit these scenes in. Is this a bit odd/unique/normal? They like porn and the rest of it. Just not in films.

"What? "

Example. Watching something like Spider-Man and liking the storyline. Yet if sex appears in it. He says it spoils the movie.

I don't generally like story-line movies that include sex scenes
