I think most of us actually do accept that some things are just someone's preference because... Because! AND that we're all perfectly entitled to those preferences.
But nonetheless that doesn't mean it won't irk you even if you know it's perfectly fine. I think that's fairly human!
For me, if I see particularly young women with older men it makes me feel quite uneasy.

I must be way to tolerant (never thought I wouor say that!), as long as it is legal and consensual and hurts no-one else, nothing makes me 'uneasy' as such, each to their own as it is all about fun and who am I to dictate what should be fun to anyone?

We don't find anything that makes us uneasy on Fab. There are a couple of things that aren't for us but 'uneasy' isn't how we'd describe that. Can't see anything wrong with younger women with older men or vice versa, so long as its legal xxx |

What gets my goat?
Couples thinking 'swinging' is still the 'wife swapping' of days of old and that they're in some way superior to singles.
Its a case of progress, evolution, inclusion - and basically a step forward - particularly since many a happy couple met whilst enjoying this lifestyle as singles!
Apart from that - nothing really bothers me and I'll respect peoples preferences so long as they're not illegal or prejudiced against others! |

Actually I think I wouldn't like that. I had a 17 year old girl cracking on to me the other day and it made me feel uneasy. I have this thing called self control you see.
So yeah when I see - and I did see this the other day - a 60 year old bloke and a 22 year old girl - I don't like it. Even if it is legal.
I'm not quite sure why this has proven to be such an issue for you. |

As for what we don't like, I think top of the list are people who question other's choices and preferences and can't accept individual choice. |

Oddly enough I'm on the other side of the fence on this one.
Yes I groom and tidy but get very irked if anyone suggests that something I consider to be perfectly normal should be removed as though it's filthy!
I have tried it all off but don't like the pre-pubescent look it gave me or the irritating regrowth.
We wouldn't tolerate strangers telling us what hairstyle we have to have on our heads to be acceptable so why is it ok with pubic hair? |

Not only do we have an age gap, my parents do too so I am particularly offended by your comments especially when such hypocrisy is shown on your part.
If something makes you feel uneasy, try being a grown adult about it and ignore it rather than start threads about it.

13 years to some is a large age gap.

age is one of those discussions, dont get me wrong 10 years i can cope with even 15 but
but a 60 year old with a 20 sorry it makes me feel very uneasy

Can't see what it matters re. the level of an age difference. Why would a 40 year old be ok with a 20 year old, but not so for a 60 year old?

It isn't a discussion about age just about things that you think are fine really but nonetheless unsettle you.
For example you might think that you can't stand people who look for BBC, or TV/TS or whatever... Doesn't mean you think people aren't entitled to do it. |

We've never seen what age has to do with love or sexual attraction, as long as it's legal of course.
Perhaps the O.P will have different ideas when he's older himself, after all he's relatively young yet and opinions change with maturity.
That said, he's still entitled to the opinions he holds at this moment in time.

I get the age debate, I personally do not find men over 40 attractive. Even the celebrity ones George cloony for example, then again I am only 22 and it only feels natural to go with people my own age.
My preferences are also to have slim sexual partners. As inspiring and lovely as big women and men can be, again I do not find an attraction to them. I won't lie I can be influenced by certain stereotypes that are derived from overweight people, but even if those were proved wrong I still wouldn't be attracted to them as a slimmer frame is a much sexier image to me.
There may be exceptions in the world of swinging however so far I have not come across any. |
