Hi Im thinking of organising an event in a hall , am unsure of legalities regarding what can and cannot be done during the evening? If there is anyone who has any experience of this please get in touch or answer here. Wondering mostly about is it legal to have live floor show? legal for sex on the premises between consenting adults? and any more problems which may arise. Grateful for any help. |

It depends on your agreement, and hire conditions. You will need as a minimum, Public liability insurance, plus security, maybe an alcohol license, depending on venue. |

"It isn't a church hall its a private hall."
Whoever you're renting the hall from will be able to advise you on what you'll need to stay legal.
If you can't tell the owners what you're planning, that probably tells you all you need to know.
PS, please don't try this in the Old Comrades Club. |

Venue owners/managers have been known to cancel events with no warning and very close to the event if they find out it's swingers.
If they find out you are hoping to have a sex show or play you could risk losing your venue and possibly getting blacklisted in the area. |
