After meet etiquette

Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to this site but wondered what the usual after meet etiquette is?
I had a meet last week and I thought it went well and we both had fun. I sent the guy a message the next day just saying hi last night was fun hope to do it again. I'd not heard anything back from him which I was a bit disappointed about but hey. Then tonight I got a message from him saying are you gonna verify me then?
To me that's pretty rude or is it fairly normal to meet then that be the end of it? Or did I just meet an idiot? Lol |

If the meet went well I ask the guy if he wants to be verified (some don't) then I verify him. And if I'm lucky he might verify me. 
As for other stuff, I usually text saying that I had a good night, but as I rarely re-meet I don't usually say anything about meeting again.
I would say that the guy wasn't very diplomatic about the way he requested a verification, but it's probably the case he doesn't want to meet again. |

It is quite abrupt but this isn't dating and most people see it as nsa. Of course this doesn't mean that you can be rude but some people might interpret it in a way that means they don't need to observe social niceties. You are under no obligation to verify him, did he verify you? |

I would be stubborn and not verify him,he was'nt polite enough to respond to your message of thanks .....but thats just me, if hes already verified and shows them you could give him a verification he would never forget but would'nt want to show  |

Yes that is very rude, I don't want to be blunt but perhaps he didn't think it went as well... As you had thought...
But he's not really bothered so long as he gets a verification... Time to message for a veri... Then certainly time to veri and say thankyou... I certainly wouldn't be veryfying!  |

I agree with the majority view. Even though this isn't a dating site it's only manners to respond to your message and not just wait to see if you'll verify him.

After meet messages can vary from person to person. Some people you will meet again some you wont even if your meet was great. Wouldn't be disheartened or put off by it though his attitude from what you've described does stink 
If you wish to leave a veri then fine as you have met him. If you don't want to then that's cool too but i don't think you should be forced or pressured in to a veri by someone regardless of meeting them

I always message to say thank you. I think he's a bit rude if he's ignored your message and asks for a verification a week later! Id be stubborn and not write one  |

Ok this may be an NSA sex site but we don't see that as an excuse to chuck manners out of the window.
We always text after a meet to say thanks, we always would unless something went very wrong on the meet. Every time our meets have text us we have replied in kinda.
As for Veri's we have never asked for one and never would. If a meet wanted to that's great. But it's not taken for granted and obviously if they don't offer a veri they didn't think much of the meet...
To not reply to your text and then ask for a veri in such a way just takes the piss.

I don't usually have that situation,ignoring ur thanku message,then asking week later for veri in that way is very rude
I am polite like u send a thanku message,I do a veri automatically if a first meet within a few days.generally I get a reply of similar,,also i accept there friends request,I don't always get a veri so I write in there private notes date and where met because I'm scatty,some guys are a one off and some are nice enough to meet again,after care is important when it comes to remeets,I like to chat accasionally but not in eachothers pocket |

We had a similar with a guy we'd previously met but then he left and re-joined later. He approached us asking if we'd re-verify him and he'd do likewise with us. We didn't verify him straight away and the next message was almost a demand we verified him NOW. Needless to say we didn't and when we challenged his rudeness, he waffled that it was because he was using his mobile. We didn't re-verify and Nor did he us.
We're quite genuine but have learnt the hard way that there are few 'friends' in swinging although you will meet some nice people, we're all in it for our own ends.
We don't think you've done anything wrong and broken no etiquette by not verifying him. Enjoy yourself and see who else there is out there! X |

He sounds a bit rude, I'd not be leaving a veri. Most of my meets have wanted tk meet again but even with the one or two that haven't they have sent a message to say thanks for a nice time etc, some ask for a veri but do do politely.
Some do just meet anyone to get verified, I know a guy who admits his first meet was just to get the green tick, he never displayed hers.
I'd be giving him a lesson in manners and ignoring him. |

We will usually send a text or a message once we are home or failing that the following morning. Most people reply....
We will usually send a verification even if we don't want to meet again (as long as they match their profile) We actually find it very rude for someone to ask for one.
Different things work for different people. Some of our friends we keep in regular contact with and others we don't really speak to, other than when arranging a meet.

Maybe you should have asked the guy himself rather than put this up. One thing for sure he will be thinking if he reads this is you lack any discretion. After all without asking you don't know if he is distracted due to a family achievement, a job loss, an accident or if its ignorance. All you will get asking here is bitter people making assumptions and jumping in with 2 feet.  |

If he had been distracted by a family tragedy or job loss then he would have mentioned it when he sent text asking for verification though.

I think he is being really rude, if not unpleasant. Stikes of fuck and run, had his way, wants the verification so he can try another. Horrid.
I always thank a lady for the lovely time, ask if she wants a verification and hope we can meet again soon for more fun. I even do that with socials, surely its treat people as you would want to be treated yourself. |
