So, 3 weeks ago I write to a couple. No response until late yesterday, I get a message from nowhere saying, meet tomorrow at 4pm, pay for a room or pay childcare for them.
Their profile was up front and said this could be the only way they would meet so it wasn't unexpected.
Trouble is....it was less than 24hrs away and I had a family commitment made weeks ago. So I quickly wrote and said sorry....something else on.
Now...I'm a time waster. Actually I'm a fu**ing time waster".
And I dont think I am.....I've met a few people off here and had a ball, I'm just a person who has a life.
Any thoughts? |

You're not a timewaster. And why do you think so little of yourself that you would find it acceptable to be asked to pay for a room or babysitter? Meets on here are for mutual fun, not making someone pay. |

Why on earth would somebody have the gaul to expect you to pay to meet with them... I can understand going halves on a room but for you to pay for that plus their babysitter, it would be an instant NO from me, wouldn't even waste my time. They would have more chance winning the lottery blindfolded with a blunt pen than me agreeing to do that.  |

Sadly time wasters are a fact of life on here. And on all other sites including paying sites.
They come in all shades - women, couples, men, TVs - seems there are far too many fantasists out there who like the thought of swinging but run a mile when it actually comes down to doing anything.
Shame on all of them. |

Avoid them at all costs, if they wanted you to pay for a room OR pay for child care then they were planning to abandon the children if you got a hotel room... That makes them either negligent or somewhat stupid, either of which is not a good personality trait |

There is such a lot of nonsense up here. Bad attitudes, rude, unfriendly behaviour, aggression and attitude. Why, I have no idea, its a swinging site .. That is socialising with friends and adding sexual playtime too ...
Personally I would move away from such members with that attitude, I would not have them as friends in person so why the heck would I want to fuck with them ?

It's funny the attitude some couples have as of all single makes should be on their knees grovelling an thankful to be allowed to speak to them. Bit do they get annoyed when you judge them to the same standards you do single makes who message you

Why should you have to pay for the room .yes go halves but as for child care they brought their little monsters into the world so should accept responsibility of paying some one to look after them or a trusted family member whilst they getting it on with some one else .what makes them so precious they can demand such things ! I sometimes question people's morality on here and not in a sexual way lol. But in how fair or unfair they are to people.some people are so precious about themselves .they should wise up.poppyxc  |

yes but some people thinks thats how it goes on here and its the norm but its not .i don't think they should be allowed to post and demand that myself .you either want to meet people for fun on an equal footing go half on a room or not .poppyxx |

Yes it's ridiculous, yes I agree that this couple are demanding to say the least BUT the OP chose himself to contact them, so I don't really see why he's spouting off about that in the forum. If he didn't like that - why message them  |

The majority of profiles do not have that kind of crap on. There are plenty of other couples to approach but he chose to message a couple accepting their stated terms. More fool him. |

I think you were perfectly reasonable. We all sometimes get hiccups that prevent meets. Being courteous and letting them know was great. They should have been more gracious and accepted your apology. Some notice is better than no notice, which has happened to us and many others too I imagine. |

We always pay any hotel room costs as we get the most out of it. We nearly always buy refreshments in and never have any expectation other than the guy should turn up clean at the agreed time.
Quite sure we aren't the only couple that treat the guys we choose to meet with respect. |

when we meet in a hotel, its usually because we have the room and fancy a bit of fun.
we always stay, so its OUR room, so agree with you, we never even ask the other party to contribute, why would we.
when people come to your house, you wouldnt ask them to pay the mortgage lol |

when i was swinging as a cpl we never met in hotels as we lived in a 3 bed house. we invited folk round to us and if they wanted to have a drink put them up in our
spare room . so need to worry about hotel cost for anyone x |

I had a similar issue this week.
I had need aged a woman who agreed we would meet up at an agreed time.
I gave her my phone number to text me address details etc
Anyway she didn't text so I presumed she had lost interest or changed her mind.
Not wanting to come across desperate I didn't chase up on here and today I get told to leave the site by said woman as I am a time waster

I can understand them being dissappointed but thats life you win some you lose some they expected you to pay anyway if we arranged to meet someone they have every right to back out if they are not happy we would have been friends either way and waited for the right moment we would class that as a lucky escape best of luck to you in future |
