Unfortunately you can't name and shame which I think is wrong. We all know people have to cancel meets at the last minute, but there are a number of ways you can let someone know you will not be making it. Only polite in my book |

We have suggested to the site owners that everybodies profiles show a total number of times they have had a "no show" complaint against them using the report feature. This would help other users decide if they should plan a meet or not waste their time!
We have had dozens of time wasters cancel on us at the last minute. |

If this happens to me my first thought wouldnt be timewaster....I would worry something bad had happened to them but thats just me.....I worry lol if it proves to have been that they judt didnt turn up then shame on them but dont let it get to you as if they are getting a kick out of winding people up then posting here about it only adds to their pleasure.
Hopefully theres a good reason and they are okay though x |

I've not had a no show yet, probably post for a replacement. Had a couple of cancels and most have been legit. |

That's a good idea actually. Just as long as some people that genuinely can't make a meet last minute don't get struck down with the same reputation. Defo a good idea tho...some people arrange to meet then don't show purely because they don't have the nerve to say they don't wanna meet. We should all be really honest.

There could be a genuine reason...depends how long you're waiting! Me and a friend went to meet a guy last night. He doesnt get a mobile signal where he lives, so just landline and fab messages. Long story short we were about half an hour late (couldn't find the house or call because we lost signal about 2 miles out). Checked messages after the meet and about 10 chasing where we are/were we timewasters! Absolutely not - just circumstances worked agasinst us! |

Yes, but they could limit it to one strike each. If three or five DIFFERENT people complain then maybe there is something in it and you get a black mark? |

I suppose. I just hate that once people get a couple of good veris they would be able to get away with appalling behaviour ever after with no repercussions. It seems to be such a big problem for so many people on this list, there must be a solution. |

That is one of the reasons why I don't use the veri system. I prefer my own opinion and not someone else's of a person. |

I've had no shows for coffee... They get 10mins waiting time now then I leave
I've had people not turn up when I've paid for hotels but I enjoy the peace of my own company but no longer book & pay for hotels as after 3 no shows it was getting expensive to chill out alone in a hotel room |

That would work. Admin can if they wish view messages and see that people have been exchanging numbers etc...
If they just read a reply saying "thanks, but no thanks" then the complaunt of no show, they can easily uphold it and see that the person reporting is not using the site fairly!
Most people who arrange a meet with us then text us saying they don't think they can go through with it either because they aren't bi or feel we are too much for them!!! |

Most of them have been meets arranged for a following week. They then start messaging asking to meet now. When we explain we have a family life that comes first and we will meet as arranged, they then start getting shitty and sending abusive messages. Instant block and they get reported, but nothing ever gets done about them. |

Well admin will look at whats been said by each of you and take action if its necessary,you won't be told if any action has been taken though,so you can't say nothing is ever done
Sometimes I plan weeks in advance,never once in 5 yrs had any abuse or demands to meet now instead
I have found that the vast majority of people on this site are polite,articulate and respectful people,I actually enjoy getting the odd arsewipe thrown into the mix as they're quite amusing  |

Admin have no responsibility to enforce meets - just to ensure people abide by site rules.
Anyone having regular issues needs to re- evaluate their contact strategy and selection processes. As many swap phone numbers, email addresses and other forms of contact how would admin ever have access to these?
If people waste your time - block and move on. They won't do it again. And the vast majority on here seem to have no issues with regular let downs. As can be seen by the many veri's, club reviews and happy , smiling people on site. The site is a tool - which if used correctly and sensibly enables fun to be had. It should be seen as nothing more ! |

If I were waiting in a bar or coffee shop I would probably give in 30 - 45 minutes, and if the beer was good and I wasn't driving probably make an evening of it.
Might as well make the best of a bad thing !
