if someone is on your friends list, but they dont often log in or reply to texts,is it unreasonable to remove them?.

i did tell the person i had removed them as we did texting.i explained why and that i did still hope to see them again.i got a text back saying to remove him from my phone,if that was how i felt.i thought it best not to rise to that.then he says, and to think i was going to ask if you were free on friday.

i still ignored that as he was obviously pissed off.

what does make me laugh is the fact he has now blocked me.which i found out as the veri disappeared.

put it behind me and moved on,just wondered if i was out of order.

No your not out of order. It's your profile and you can do what ever you like with it. We so the same if we message people on there and they don't bother replying or we don't talk any more we just delete them off. What's the point in having then on if there's no communication.

Brighton - even Hove!

I've been removed from a friends list for not contacting them for ages. I make a point now of keeping in contact with people even if it's not very often. I've removed someone myself as I felt I'd let the person down somehow and I didnt feel good knowing the person was there. Again, my fault entirely.

But I like chatting to them on and off, looking at their pics and profiles and see them interact in the forum. It would seem churlish to delete them just because either a) we haven't met yet or b) we don't constantly chat.

we removed a friend that hadnt been on a while, they sent us a message a few days later saying things had been hectic lately and they would be a lot more regular after xmas.

they are back on our list now so its all good.

think you had a bit of an escape if he is that touchy

i got removed from a friends list .. i didn't mind too much because i saw the logic of the decision .. what i was less impressed with was the ignorant status update implying i was a time waster .unfortunately i still had her on my hotlist

we occasionally remove people from our friends list, its usually because we feel that they have no further interest in us and to save them doing it, there is the possibility that we have made mistakes. In your case I would say that you have done the right thing.

Very few people (mostly women) on here are as polite as you were by letting the person know before removing them, so no you were not out of order in my opinion
