Any reason?
Granted photos of faces etc can be private but why would you hide an entire profile?
I appreciate that it will stop people messaging willy nilly but aart from that any other reason? |

because they arent interested in meeting for a while
they are taking a break
they are rewriting their profile and dont want to have the 'will fill in later' bollocks a lot have.
the more interesting question is, why do people have shit profiles that arent hidden? |

Because sometimes you just don't want the attention and would rather not show up in searches
Or at pub and club closing time when moronic d*unken messages start coming in you can hide to avoid them |

Lots of reasons....They want a break, they aren't meeting, they have encountered a fucktard and need some timeout. Then there are the ones, that play funny buggers, they're in a whole other league though . |

There can be any number of reasons. A lot of ladies I know have hidden their profiles for a while to take a break, stop people pestering them (99.9% of times by guys!) or because, quite simply they've received dogs abuse for not wanting to meet someone and their confidence has taken a knock. But ultimately, their reasons are their own. |
