I see no justification for rudeness - if someone will not take a polite thanks but no thanks or is rude to you just block them, otherwise you simply lower yourself to their level |

"No need for it
does offering to 'batter' someone count as being rude
like battered fish? No that's not rude
no not in that sense, but you can offer to spank me "
Lol! Now that would be very rude and if it wasn't I'd want to know why |

In the context of Fab no need to be rude but in real life I have always told my daughter that if she is being harassed by anyone she has every right to be rude and I have no hesitation myself in telling someone who is being a nuisance to clear off. |

"I disagree, there is the very rare occasion when being rude is the only way to get your message across. No that's wrong"
Or telling some one that their opinion is wrong? Does that count as being rude? |

I find that when people say ' I say it how it is' or ' I'm blunt and to the point' it's a cover for them to be rude because they haven't the capability or intelligence to speak and give their thoughts in a proper manner.

Im afraid that you are not. If people don't take no fir a answer rude tends to get the point across. |

Define ironic?
For me, rude, is calling someone else on a forum, then trying to back track calling it a joke, then low and behold starting a thread about others being rude
I'm blunt and honest, doesn't mean I am rude. There is a way of saying something bluntly and honestly. Having the education and language to do so, takes skill, in my opinion. |

"Feels like she has arrived late for a play and is trying to pick up the action in Scene 2, Act 1 "
Let me fill you in
the main character thinks that rudeness is unnecessary, some of the minor characters disagree some agree, there is a sub plot in which two of the characters veer off into discussing Mrs N's handcuffs, red shoes and predilection for spanking. The main theme running throughout is rudeness in all its forms |

GREAT! I needed that, thanks, hun
However, I am reading a rather splendid farce by PG Wodehouse at the mo, so unless someone is locked out of a stately home, an engagement has been called off owing to a misunderstanding and owing to a d*unken valet mistaking Bertie Wooster for the devil a cottage has been burnt down this will have some work to do |

I have had the odd very rude person on here, but I just block them. They are nothing to me. Of no importance so no need to get upset.
I used to get upset and all worked up, and then I realised that rude people will not look after me in hospital, if I get ill.
Love yourself and demand respect.
Block them. |
