Typical!!!

we were going to go to Eurekas today, but this morning received a letter from the DVLA telling us we have no insurance. We know that we do have insurance via a broker, and the error is on there side, most likely due to the personal number plate!!

The problem is both the broker and the admin for the insurance are not open until Monday.

Why do these bloody letters arrive on the day you can't do anything about it!!!!

I feel like driving there still, just taking all our documents with us... just in case...

But Sods Law will mean we crash and have void insurance.... we were hit by a d*unk driver back in June, this is the replacement car.... that time I had renewed the day before the RTA!!!

Just go and take copies of your current documents with you - incorrect or not. I manage an insurance brokers and if the fault is not yours then the policy is not void (in fact its incredibly difficult for an insurer to void a policy anyway!)

At the end of the day the fault is there's not yours. You paid your premium so the car is insured, the insurer has its money, its simply an admin oversight.

Other than your post on here, is there any proof you received the DVLA letter?
