I've struck upon a recent trend on here.
I'll message a lady, she'll message back, we'll end up having a lengthy conversation over messages that evening or maybe over a night or two. We'll add each other as friends and swap pics and talk about a possible meet. Then one day you message and say hi and nothing, leave it a day or two and say hi again and message is deleted immediately. Anyone want to try and explain this? These are not fake profiles either these are profiles with lots of verifications. I'm not losing sleep over it as I just delete then from my friends but just curious if this happens to anyone else, guys or girls? |

I wouldn't take it personally bud. People just click with different people at different times. That's just the nature of the site. Don't dwell on it. Stay positive, move on and have fun!!! |

Strike while the iron is hot. Though you have to balance that with not being pushy

I think sometimes at the start of an exchange you think "yeah, ok, nice" but sometimes the messages can turn you off a bit. I'm having that right now with someone. Everything was good but now... not so sure. |

Happens a lot. No matter what you do they will be some that do not like it. Ask for a meet and ignored do not ask and ignored, you just cannot win. some will say a nice no thank you after chatting for a bit. These are the one with manners.
Just take a deep breath and more on. Some men have manners as well after all.

Single women are bad for doing this, they love the pic sharing, flirting and even the naughty chat, but mention meeting, they either don't turn up or never answer messages... Be honest if you only want to be turned on say so.....
Happy hunting

Happens all the time. I've lost count of the times it has happened, but I don't loose any sleep over it. I used to wonder why, but it doesn't bother me now |

Exchanging messages / photos does not always turn into a meet.
We have chatted with people before and at the start been very keen. Then they might say or do something that puts us off.
Maybe they changed their mind but didn't know how to tell you so simply just ignored your messages.
Don't worry about it....

"The difference is, fantasy V reality... They love the idea, but no follow through... There called attention seekers...."
So if you change your mind for whatever reason...you are an attention seeker? |

Now that is a perfectly good way to put it.

Yes it does. It happens to me all the time which is why I never accept a friend's invite until after we have met (if we clicked). No big deal, there are plenty of other people on this site. I usually give someone a min of 5 days to respond because work and life does take over sometimes. If he/she has been online past the 5 days and still no response....delete and block! I think I am very nice to give them 5 days.
Dont beat yourself up about it. |

I've had the same thing happen to me, even exchanged phone numbers and then it's no response to messages on here and no response to text messages
Does it bother me?
No

They changed their mind. Men do it too, we all have a right to think - 'Hmm, maybe he's not as hot/witty/perfect as I first thought now I've slept on it'.
Maybe life took over. Maybe they wandered off 'cos the hot blond from No 23 popped round and they haven't got the balls to say. But if that's the reason they always come back. I don't block, I just leave them to it, though I wouldn't message more than once.
However, if I have been in conversation with someone I agree it is damn rude to delete and not reply. In that case, fuck 'em. |

Have had this happen to me a couple of times but i don't take it personally either. The women have so much choice here they can just move on if they think there is someone better around. You just have to move on yourself. |
