I don't think i've ever met anyone as a result of talking via the forums, all the guys I have met have been guys that have found me via searching the site
The only time people mail me cause they have seen me on the forum is to give me abuse and ear ache  |

Met 2 in person from the forums, one I wish I hadn't bothered with but the other regularly makes me chuckle.
Chatted to a few lovely ladies too, good to make female friends on here. |

Forums for me! Much better than chat or classified - generally though I have met some really nice people from just reading their forum posts and dropping them a wink or MSG - and vice versa!!

I must say I have had lots of one off meets from here, but also made some really good friends from he aswel. I'm even going to meet one later for a pint or two, and if we are lucky might even manage a MMF into the bargain  |

We have met some brilliant people via the forums for social and play fun!!
And there are a few more we would like to meet!

Has to be said - the forums do give you a good insight into people.
And the forum socials are always cracking nights too!

We've met 2 couples as a result of the forums and both are couples we'd love to meet again when time permits. One of those was as a direct result of a thread where people posted which forumites they'd like to meet.
Annoyingly most of the forumites we are interested in aren't at all local |

Only my first ever meet wasn't from the forums, the rest have been including a social this morning.
Have also made what I hope to be good friends that if I ever left fab I'd hope we stayed in contact xx |

I ve had numerous people contact me after seeing my forum posts, some I ve met some I keep in contact with via messages on here or other media,
I think posting in the forum adds another string to your bow |

I tend to use the forums just for banter and a laugh rather than use them to meet,ive met a few over the years socially,maybe just one or 2 to play with and lots of friends along the way
My playtime is mostly away from the forums |

Its the forums all the way for me, it is a brilliant way to show the side of you that may be missing in an initially message, profile pic etc, it shows your personality and humour and its works for me, it plays to my strength of quirky humour, you may not get the greatest shag in the world but at least you will have a laugh doing it |

have met lots of friends and playmates via the forum/chatroom on another site. Not been using this one that long so we'll have to wait and see?
It can be a good place to find out who you don't want to meet though!  |

Met one couple through the forums. It happened as a direct result of a which forumites would you like to meet thread.
There are a couple of others who we chat to privately off and on. Hope to meet them one day but sadly they live miles and miles away.
We tend to look for and arrange most of our meets away from the forums. |

Imho it's not really a question of forum vs chat or other communication medium, it's more about having a bit of chemistry and rapport and then it builds from there. |
