How important is it to you guys about meeting the right or comfortable age group? the reason I ask is that between me and the other half their is a 12yr gap, and as a general rule we look at the upper 40`s group, this allows us to feel comfortable I guess with meets.
But this got me thinking that some couples may be put off with even myself in the lower 40`s being too "young" for their liking, or my other half at the "upper" limit for their liking
I guess in the perfect sitution we would find a couple that have the same age difference maybe? but would like to hear your thoughts on it |

There's 8 years between me and my guy and we've talked about this too. With him being younger we an become appealing to the younger people on here, but then with me being older we've also been approached by olders. We've had a meet with a woman who was 45 and she was actually a lot of fun, but when we were approached by a couple of 67 even I had to say I thought that was perhaps a bit beyond for us |

I had similar with my previous other half. He was 51 and me 40 so in the same way he was too old for some of my age friends and I would have been too young for his age friends. I expect he wouldn't mind playing with friends my age and younger but the thought of 10 years older than him to me isn't a good thought.
I guess meeting a couple with ages in between yours would be the best option x |

I suppose as well it would depend on who is doing the searching as well? I would guess that for a couple you have "typically" one that normally does the searching around, and if the age difference is too much for their own personal preference they skip you by, which may or may not be the case if the other one did the search...
It`s food for thought. |

The age gap show not be a problem...filter what you do not fancy out...as I noticed when I turned 51 was filtered out of most of my friends that I talk too...weird...but not really...everyone is different I have been blessed by good genes...and have had to get my passport out to prove that I am the age I say...so it works both ways... |

I don't see why it should be. I'm 73 and I have met women in their 20's and 30's without any problems |
