Why do some ( fabsters ) on their profiles currently state " not meeting " i've came across 3 like that this morning. Since i've been a member on this ( site ). I know of 2 profiles that has ( not meeting ) on their profiles that has never been updated. Me personally, why
be on a ( site ) like this. When you've no intention of meeting people? what's the point? or am I missing the point? if u've no intention of having ( fun ). What's the logic of being on this particular site.
Thoughts please anyone. |

why are you continually looking at the same profile if they have no intention of meeting you?
thats kinda stalkerish.
people choose different things at different times.
we have never had not meeting on our profile, but have hidden it a couple of times as we werent in the mood.
just because people dont use this site the way you do doesnt make them wrong, or you right.
just move along |

I don't keep looking @ their profiles. When u scroll down on the ( search ) functions. Whether it b locally or in a wider area. U can c it in their headline. Dus that answer your question? |

I have had not meeting on my profile a few times since I've joined. It's easier to put that there then delete my profile, lose all my pics and veris and then have to start over a few weeks later.
Plus I wouldn't be able to use the forums with no profile.
People can't be expected to meet 24/7/365. Some have work commitments, family, might be going on holiday or working away for a while etc. surely it's better to have not meeting on your profile than not and then be called a timewaster!!
Or maybe they are people that don't want to meet, that just enjoy camming, chat etc or just go to clubs and play there.
Don't see a problem as long as people are honest in their profile! |

Things changes in peoples lives and where in the rule book does it say that be on the site you have to be meeting.
I personally aren't meeting at the moment due to health reasons but I will again in the future and in the meantime want to stay in touch with friends I've made and I enjoy being in the forums!!
I would have thought it would be far more annoying to message someone to get a reply saying they're not meeting rather than it being in plain _iew on their profile!!!
Solution:- simply pass the profile by then it can't bother you  |

Its simple, the rules of this site are not that yo have to meet to be on here - swinging is a community, and as such, people make friends, chat, share messages. There are plenty on here who have made enough friends that they dont want or need to meet anyone new for fun.
There are too many people on here who think just because they dont so something, its wrong when others do it - we as a race are all very different, we approach life differently, we have different preferences, different tastes - if we were all the same, how uninteresting would life be then? |

These " fabsters " r currently active. IE, in the last 24-hours etc. Their profile headline ( not meeting ) has never changed in weeks & months. This is the point i'm trying 2 get across. |

Mine says 'Not meeting'. I havent met for a while and Im not sure if/when Ill be meeting again in the future. But Im still a fairly active member of the site  (and the scene) and plan to be for quite some time yet.
People use the site in different ways, theres nothing that says that you have to be here only to meet people. |

Perhaps as has been suggested they are having a break . It would make sense to hide the profile though . However if the profile holder is still active in the forums it's useful to see the profile to get an idea of the contributer on a post .
A hidden profile wouldn't allow for this so maybe it's better to just accept things the way they are ?

Maybe these "fabsters" just "can't be arsed" and as it clearly doesn't bother them nor stop them playing why should it bother you. Just stop stalking their profile and the problem goes away. Simples  |

Does it really matter,fab is also a chatsite where people chat private or on forums keeping in touch with people,people have different reasons why they dont meet,just message people that do,there not bothering anyone |

At one point this year I spent more time in hospital than out of it. I had not meeting on my profile while I was ill cos I didn't want to hide it as I still wanted to chat to friends and use the forums.
Then when I was improved I amended it.  |

I know lots of people that have put 'not meeting' on their profile, they still may want to keep in touch with people they already know on here, or use the forums or chat rooms etc but they arn't actualy meeting. That's the way they want to use this site, it's not against the rules, so that's what they do.
Sometimes they just put this on their profile to help stop being inundated with requests asking them to meet (mainly single females lol), though they are indeed still meeting, just who they choose to.
All in all though, it's their profile and if that's what they want to put, why shouldn't they? |

well, to be fair, remembering that certain members havent changed their status updates since he started on this site would indicate a certain amount of unhealthy interest.
why would anyone remember what someone else was doing with their profile for any amount of time?
dont even know what we are doing with ours most of the time |

Why should they, it's their profile, they can write what they like on it as long as it's withing site rules!
Loads of people put the crap about Sydney University on their profile as well, which is complete nonsense, but it is their profile! |

Like I said further up maybe they are just into camming, clubs etc and don't use the site to actually meet others just for the cam rooms etc |

Perhaps they don't want to. Perhaps they don't know how to.
There's a large amount of members that post in the forums about other people's profiles which seems strange to me. If someone's profile excludes me in any way, whether by asking for something I don't have, or by saying they are not meeting, I pass by. What's the point of worrying about profiles which don't want to meet me? |

Then you get the messages why is your profile hidden ?
I would say as mine says I'm not meeting it means I'm not meeting. I do however go to socials and party's when invited and join in forums. |

I'm a full time carer for an elderly family member.
That does actually mean full time.
I started out with that info on my profile, along with a plea to give me time and I'll contact folk when I am looking for fun.
Guess what happened?

Do you think I was given an once of respect and the chance to have a nosy neb on here when I want to?
Like bollocks I was. My mailbox was rammed with 101 variation on the theme of "oh you poor thing, you need a night off and a fuck". I swear changing my profile to say I'm a pnumatic 19 year old ex-catholic school girl would have had less responses.
So now I just block anyone stupid enough to message a profile warning then I'll block them if they message me. |
