Insomnia strikes so I'm just tiptoeing the halls of Fab in the wee small hours...
Received a wink as you often do at this hour...click on the profile...attractive looking couple, very local to up...start to read said couples profile and it's like looking in the mirror...in fact we're identical...word for word..,
now, while imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery...would you be stupid enough to wink the couple whose profile you had blatantly plagiarised virtually word for word?  |

Hmm, think I'd be a little freaked out, it's like they winked you so you would look and see that their profile was copied.
Apart from that,does it look like a genuine profile? |

verified several times...
I think you're right on the freaked out a little bit though...strange behaviour...what was more odd was that between the wink and my message to them to say wtf...they'd added more of our text...  |

quite probably...
hard to do as they blocked me after i messaged them to say how much i liked their profile...hard not to seeing as how I wrote it... |

There is a compliment involved. However, they'll probably come unstuck eventually when peeps meet them and realise they aren't as sparkly or creative as the profile lead them to believe  |

I've seen the profile. It no longer has the elegance of the Janey and Monkey offering. It's txt written wiv a Sydney university warning wiv some quite big words that I fink might also hav bin copied and pasted  |

We posted on a 'what's wrong with my profile' thread. The chap had Eminem lyrics as his profile!
2 days later we had another look and he'd used about 90% of our blurb. Bit annoying as we like to put a bit of effort in, but its not like we hold copyright. hope it does him well - ....gotta be better than a song about 'sluts and hoes'  |
