Friend invite, then silence!

Yesterday, I received a friend invitation from a couple. As soon as I saw it, I accepted it, sent a polite message thanking them for sending it, and saying I was looking forward to getting to know them and possibly meet up. Since then, they have been online several times but haven't even opened the message, let alone read it. What's all that about then? Just to perve at the private pics? If so, they haven't apparently viewed my profile. |

You might not be able to tell if they have viewed your profile as they could be in stealth mode.
Maybe they read their messages together and are waiting till then.
Maybe it's a bloke pretending to be a couple who just wanted to have a wank over your pics.
If the unknown bothers you then don't accept unsolicited friends requests. |

If you are not happy delete it and move on anything else looks pushy. |

I think you are reading too much into it. A couple means two, obviously, one of them maybe thought you sounded interesting, the other might not have.
A friend invite, a wink, even a message, does not mean a guaranteed meet. People talk to lots of other people on here. I would say the majority of that talking comes to nothing. It's simply networking.
Do not read into this site too much. If you all decide on a date and time, then a meet may be on the cards, anything other then it's just talk (or not as the case may be). |

"Ha ha! I wonder if they read the forums? The message has now been read within the last 10 minutes or so. No reply yet, but I think I need to be a bit more patient."
And don't get too excited about a reply if they have read the forum, they may not reply. I know I wouldn't if someone started a similar thread about me, it signifies lack of discretion. |

How is it indiscreet? I haven't mentioned any names. |
