As much as up to 20% of women may have this and men can get it too.
And its also known as 'invaginated' not just inverted.

I have just googled inverted nipple, seems vet was right
if you have always had inverted nipples then this is nothing to worry about, however should one or more nipples suddenly become inverted then it could be a sign of cancer |
