"A hidden entrance, behind an electrically operated bookcase (done it), a telephone extension, safety equipment (cutters, First Aid kit), sound-proofing, adjustable lighting, fairy lights or illuminated hearts, a suitable surround sound system, a 'smoke' generator, very high end equipment including a cage, blacked-out windows, video and still cameras on tripods with remotes, a monitor, a bathroom or wetroom, fixed points, an electric hoist, cabinets for storage, glass fronted cabinets and racks for equipment that you want to have visible, RCDs for any electrical devices, electric fans for cooling and heating to maintain a temperature suitable for a naked, or near naked, submissive, towels, wet wipes, bleach and other cleaning equipment. The list is endless.
I store my more interesting equipment in an upstanding illuminated casket.
