I went for an STI test, all was cool, test results clear. It was a completely painless and unembarassing experience. Hadn't indulged in unsafe behaviour just thought I should go see what the process was and assure myself that all was good with my sexual health. It is.
So, guys, just do it.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I found out my GUM clinic now does DIY kits last time I went. All I can say is they need to provide more toilets if that's the case.
Brilliant service, with non-judgemental people, and free latex-free condoms |

Atour last visit we decided it was only sensible to inform her of our swinging fun to ensure all the right tests were carried out. The nurse asked many many questions and we swear she was going to investigate the lifestyle for herself |

if you can find time to have sex you can find time to get tested. |

Most clinics are open in the evening. Make an appointment so you don't have to wait, and get the full range of tests. Takes 30 mins maximum. |

Took 15 mins in a waiting room. 10 mins with the nurse.
Results took 9 days. Arrive discretely via text. Simple message said:
'Your tests for Chlamydia, Syphilis, Gonorrhoea, HIV on 15/10 were all
negative. Be safe, use a condom.' |

SO glad you posted that, thanks.
Unfortunately a lot of the guys on here have a strange sense of perceived risk.
I have had a number of inventive excuses for why they have never had a check-up but the most common ones are :
" they have only ever been in long term relationships",
or "never met any swingers yet", or "always play safe" meaning that they stick a welly on for penetration only but go bare for anything else and still think they are fully "protected" !!

I (fem) get checked every 2-3 months and just had my 2nd Hep B injection. 3rd one due in 4 weeks, then I only need boosters. Play safe with intercourse, but only occasionally use condoms for oral, so I get checked for everything. Always tell the nurse that I swing and have multiple partners, they never judge, but are often curious, so like to explain about the clubs I visit. |
