What's the worst that can happen though? You get rejected, you feel low for anything between a minute and a month, then you have some ice cream to make yourself feel better.

If you went to a club and said any old rubbish in French you'd turn some heads. Then educated the ladies to some French cheese and wine.
As the best other guys around you could do is rubbish Allo Allo.
