Blocking single guys

Hello i'm curious if other Ladies and couples have done this!! I decided to block single guys purely on the basis that i don't believe they read profiles! also some of the rude and disrespectful messages i use to get, I know there not all the same but after having loads and loads of messages i gave up and blocked them all, I enjoy single male company or maybe even more than one single male lol, anyways I'm wondering if others have decided to block for the same reasons???

We also block singles and unblock if we are looking. When we do unblock we get some shit copy and past messages and unsolicited friends requests.

I had everyone filtered as when you're 'new' but after a while the number of pm's settles a little.

Using other filters can help with the issues you mentioned, but not all men are like that, and this place has some fabulous single men

If you're happy to hunt/seek those you want to play with, go for it. Use the facilities on here to your advantage x x

I totally understand where you are coming from, unfortunately I found the filters too later, however, not only that the men up here are lucky to have one sentence as their profile, so if I were to block all single guys, I couldn't even go looking for myself, so it's a bloody catch 22 situation!

what have single guys got to do around here to get an even break (that was a tongue in cheek response btw) ...I understand your reasons for blocking single guys but you are tarring everyone with the same brush, we are not all the same

I must admit i did the update when i was a naughty mood, but it was after i had blocked single guys, i do message guys but i dont only use this site to meet people, i wanna attract men but not arseholes, even how naughty or slutty my profile may seem you should people respect people first, i'm just curious if others have done the same because of guys!

We blocked single guys because they were the only people who let us down.

That and the countless one line, rude, senseless messages as well, just wasn't worth it.

Its a difficult subject because I appreciate women get lots of messages, many are one liners and some are deserve a flush button...

Here comes the "however" and you knew it was coming.

Some of us guys have a decent profile, always read a ladies profile and always write a pertanent message. (9 times out of 10 they are deleted without response)

Its a harsh to tar everyone with the same brush but the more a guy gets delete the less inclined he is to try hard.. Still with me!!

So whats the answer... fcuk knows!! We should have a masdebate about the subject and go motor racing instead

On our couples profile Fox and I don't block guys as that is our main target audience - we just delete and block the idiots! Doesn't take long and saves us doing all the leg work!

We have single guys blocked but make sure we message them as and when someone takes our fancy. Some guys may say that's unfair but hey a girl has the right to choose and be picky without being hassled constantly. X

I do hate to be a bit harsh here but if we didn't block single males we would go mad because of all the inbox noise. The fabbing thing is quite good because you can see who is looking at your profile without having to worry about blokes with hurt feelings if you don't reply or bad feelings if you do reply and just say sorry guys not for us. Sorry but that is the truth guys.

I can understand why ladies and couples block single guys; anyone can block who they want, its their profile to do with as they wish.

What I dislike the fact that some people brand 'all single men' as 'arseholes' (I know the OP didn't).

I have some couples blocked just for their attitude to guys; one made a comment about 'lowlifes'.

but its your profile do what works for you and what is fun that's what fab is for !

Not sure anyone is making mass judgements, you need to see it fro a couples or singles point of _iew. We got inundated with messages from single guys and truthfully it can be a ball ache to reply to all if any of them. Yes there are a lot of decent respectable single guys out there but there are also an equal amount of chances and guys with no idea at all. So for us blocking SG's gives us breathing space to find the cream of the crop as and when we fancy it so to speak.

I block everyone!

I prefer to approach people and have had the nicest times with people I have approached first.

The problem I have is that the nice messages get lost amongst the not-so-nice ones a lot of the time, so no matter how great a message/profile is, when faced with lots of messages one can get a little jaded.
